3gb ram is an odd amount. Computers all function in bits. So aim for 2-4gigs, which will be more than enough for this game.

8800 is still an expensive card. Most people should upgrade to the 8600 for dx10. Which is around an 80 dollar card.

Quad core is still relatively expensive meaning the low end proccesors are nearly 300 dollars. Dual-cores sinking as low as 60.

another point is, that your talking there could be a good 500,000 people playing this game from day one, due to all the beta excitement, and due to wows lack of pvp, (aka mostly horde, no offense alliance but horde alot more pvp focused and alliance are alot more pve focused, plees dont argue ive played 70s on both sides trust me) this game could have a TON of people, and there will definately be a good amount of kids, but alot of parents might see the nudity tag and not let them get it lol.
