@elsap Just cuz the dance scene wasn't in the book, doesn't mean it's not a good scene. I think the reason they cut the stuff with the Dursleys was because, given that they had such a minor role in the movies, it wouldn't have made as much sense. Also it would have broken up the beautifully made opening scene with alot of dialogue.

They should not have cut holding hands scene out. it just shows that no matter what happens, everything will be okay because theyre together. harry makes ginny feel safe, and as u can tell by her smile after he grabs her hand, she loves him:) and i think this would b a great part in the movie

@elsap I agree with the Harry/Ginny holding hands part, they seriously scrimped out on their relationship in the movies. But the Harry/Hermione dance wasn't a Harrmione moment, contrary to popular belief. It wasn't about romance, it was about Harry trying to cheer Hermione up after Ron left, and about how they're close enough that they can dance alone in a tent in the wilderness and it not be weird.

@58sneakers For Christmas I got years 1-6 on Blu Ray and it was the extended edition where they included all the deleted scenes in the final cut of the movie so each movie was progressively longer than normal.

Cutting Hagrid's scenes like throwing death eaters off the bridge and skipping half the battle stuff they filmed makes it all the more prudent that these scenes be put back in for a crazy extended edition.
