  • hm shud i get one??

  • Message me I've a new one for sale on ebay cheap

  • read the comment below first. both metal zone and core have a distortion rang from at its lowest is already heavy to un matched level of gain and the ability to adapt to any sound any guitarist would want.. go for the metalzone/ core both will bring out this wahs full potential

  • i have not the sound on my PC so,Isea a foot moove it's boring

  • i am going to buy it

  • dont buy dunlop they've made shit-quality products ever since the late seventies.

  • Which distortion/OD pedal do you reccomend this pedal with? Boss DS-1/DS-2 or Fulltone OCD or Boss Metal Zone/Boss Metal Core or Ibanez Tube Screamer TS9/DXTS9? Or any other?

  • @trashthethrasher depends on how much distortion you're wanting. the boss ds 1 has a distortion range from almost none to a solid med to heavy and the tone rang varies from low end creamy thick bluesy style to a very raspy cackle its a very good pedal for the money but if you want serious full bore pedal to the metal blow your head off distortion the metal zone or the metal core is where its at. i personally chose the metal zone because of its mid range versatility.

  • can someone tell me what is the chord played at 1:05?

  • The signature KH wah pedal should not have an "off" state

  • i've heard somewhere that your not allowed to play metallica riffs/solos when doing a review, and a question: i'm planning to order the pedal on a website, do you get a cable to it when you order it?

  • Why don't you play some kirk hammett wah solos' demos for this pedal?Who buys this pedal to play Jimi or smth. else?!?!?!?!?!?

  • why single coil? Why OCD?

  • @bankieyokeeplayboy single coils are neat, even for metal. and the OCD is a sick pedal that brings out some epic harmonics.

  • nice nikes

  • nice shoes

  • can you please explain the connections you did to have wah and ocd together ? i m a beginner in pedals so i really dont know the basics

  • @Kevenharbour. Nice one ^^

  • anyone who lives on longisland NY wanna buy this from me for $110.00? its in great shape i used it for not even 30 min. just meesage me if ur interested.

  • @xskater589x I live in norway.. very interested - put it on ebay

  • iv played this peddle along with the standard cry baby, and slash crybaby, i felt ths was the worst one because theres no kick out of it

  • Nice shoes

  • Does it just run on a normal guitar cable, not some three pin bullshit??

  • @Addicted2Guitar93

Why would it run on a 3 pins bullshit? (thats a XLR btw)

  • whats with the funky tones, thats a metal wah.

  • This or Wizard Wah?

  • You were wearing Nike shoes in the vid.

  • I'm thinking of a 535q wah or a kirk hammett wah

(it's my first way pedal BTW)

and my other gear is VOX Valvetronix AD50VT

Ibanez SA36FM Boss MT-2 Distortion pedal

and 2 neutrik cables 1,5 mtrs.

    What's better ???

  • @Daan7000 dude the 535 is not reliable at all, i had two of them and they both broke in like a month.

  • @rebelwithmusic It's not necessary anymore i bought this Morley BAD HORSIE 1

  • At 1:06... listen to the 70's porn movie'a soundtrack XD

  • @kevenharbour hahaha XD!

  • @kevenharbour You made my day LMFAO.

  • @SoloTheLol Lol thanks, Ive heard it and then I was like, Where the fuck is Ron Jeremy :P

  • @kevenharbour Lmfao! You did it again XD

  • @SoloTheLol Well thanks XD

  • @kevenharbour FUCKING BULLSHIT MAN !!!

  • whats better this, dimebag wah or zakk wylde wah

  • i have a video of this vs the dimebag and original

  • i really dont know. I like the dimebag wah... cause i got that one :P dunlop wahs are good. just go for what you like the most.

  • @mrboverbro depends, if you want a wah that can sound a bunch if different ways get the dimebag wah, if you want zakk tone get the zakk wah, and if you kirk hammets favourite rack wah settings get this.

  • cmon kirk! bring out a distortion pedal!

  • @HendoGuitar probably wouldnt be worth it to him as hes got his custom settings on his sig amp (think their called modules or somethng)

  • @HendoGuitar Ibanez Tubescreamer

  • @TheTydeke thats the best bet lol

  • @HendoGuitar you will never achieve his tone with a distortian pedal !

buy a high gain tube amp like a dual rec or mark v

  • @HendoGuitar randall rm100 is his distortion :/

  • get kirks way better i have it but zakks has more wah in clean ton while kirk is for distortion

  • should i get the kirk hammett wah or the zakk wylde wah?

  • i'd get a Zakk Wylde one- have you considered the Jimi Hendrix one though - thats pretty cool

  • i have the zakk wylde one, i think it has more of the actual wah sound than the kirk hammett one does

  • Sure You Must Get Kirk!!!

  • Kirk don't even use this wah.

he uses the original crybaby or, like some $600 one that i can't remember the name

  • @guitarshreder91, its the dunlop rack wah. you can change all the setting and eq on it and everything. its really nice. and 599.99 also. lol but this wah is based on the setting and eq of his rack wah.

  • the dude at guitar center told me its based of his favorite setting on his $599.99 wah

  • thats what i said...

  • tHIS PEDAL HAS THE SAME SETTINGS

  • he used it at the show in cleveland.

  • probly just a stand in

  • @kirkbatten

Cool maybe but its probably juste a customise controler for his DCR 1SR just like Slash Red Wah Controler but maybe it is who knows!

  • he use a wah rack..

  • used to, he uses this now, ive seen it at the concert i went to

  • what song is the song at 1:18

  • my amp sux. but this pedal makes it alot better!

    I'd recommend it ;)

  • what is that white box on the side?

  • dist pedal obvs

  • DUDE! wut kind of shoes are those!!!! i need them for a gig tomorow night!

  • nike dunks

  • nike 6.0s

  • Hey douche-nozzles, grow the fuck up and quit bitching on the internet. I'm trying to enjoy this...

  • Why would you NOT play a Metallica song to sound test a KIRK HAMMETT SIGNATURE WAH? Makes no fucking sense.

  • Maybe because some people want to hear what it sounds like if you play something other than Metallica. I mean just cuz you're getting a Kirk Hammett wah doesn't mean you have to use it to play exactly what Kirk Hammett does. Sure, the whole idea of getting a KH wah is to sound like Kirk, but it can be used for music other than Metallica.

  • @NazoFire If your going to use a wah to play something other than Metallica, you can buy other wah pedals that have been made. The KHSW was made with HIS settings, and what does he play? He play's Metallica. If your going to play blues with a KH wah, you might as well dish out the 100$ to buy a Jimi Hendrix wah instead.

  • Idiot.

  • @Visualundeath And you are an ignorant bastard, who has Absolutely NO experience or information of the fact, so to still get your stupidness across, you did the best possible thing and called me an idiot. But what you didn't expect is that by doing that, you show everyone you have no idea what we are talking about. Bravo.

  • Grand irony.

  • @Sto0pidPenguinPro your a dickhead! he doens't have to play metallica songs, that'd be like saying if he's using a paul gilbert ibanez, that he has to play paul gilbert and rush songs

  • @Natanuus Why is it that when two people are having an argument, someone else has to butt in, not only interrupting the argument, but calling one party a name? Grow up shitstick. I'm not talking to you. Pedals and guitars are different. You can tune a guitar to make it sound like anything. Pedals ARE tuned for one specific sound (with sometimes having different adjustments to that said sound). You done now?

  • Wow guys chill out...bickering back and forth like that is really immature.Especially when its across the internet with some guy you dont know and will never meet. It really doesnt matter...

  • Dude thats badass! I just got a Les Paul Special ll and I might get this pedal for christmas but how do you hook it up? What cables and how do I set it up with my amp? Thx 4 your help XD

  • If you don't already have a second cable, buy one. Put one cable in your guitar and the input on the pedal, and the other in the output on the pedal and the input on your amp. Play away. If it dies, use the included cable to plug it into the wall, or simply change the batteries (I think it takes 9-Volts)

  • I'm thinking about buying one of these and when I turn the wah on and then once it's off will it go back to my amp sound or will it still have that wah back round?

  • it will go back to your amp sound

  • nice demo

  • hey'! What's the song played at 1:05 ??

  • Hey guys I bought this wah and I've had it for several months. It sounds like it adds it's own distortion to my playing and it's very noisy. I'm wondering if this is supposed to happen? or is there something wrong with my wah?

  • Nahh, I believe that some wahs naturally add some distortion. If you don't like the distorted sound, maybe you should consider getting a different wah?

  • thinks dimes wah is better .. even if i like mettalica more

  • I've heard they're in the process of making a Jerry Cantrell Crybaby...sweet, I love AIC. Now if only they could make a Tom Morello crybaby...

  • they do make a tom morello crybaby its called the 535q and they had a kirk hammet out before this to it was the rackmount crybaby

  • amazing!!I want it very much!!!

  • |I tried this the other day, was not impressed, not a really musical wah. The jimi jh1B and buddy guy wah are the shit !

  • i was expecting a wider sweep from this pedal cuz im interested in getting a new wah since i have the affordable model....i think the dimebag wah has the widest sweep and its also adjustable with the built in q dial

  • why has nobody told me Kirk brought out a signature wah? WTF?

  • Does annyone know which pedal Kirk uses to raise his volume during a solo? And if he doesen't use a pedal for it how does he do it? Thanks.

  • ibanez tube screamer

  • Thanks, but how? I tryed it and it's seems as more a light distortion/blues pedal. I couldn't get it to raise the volume, do you know how it works? Thanks a lot!

  • well, the volume raising is probably done by his guitar tech, crank the tube screamer on a heavy amp

  • Its all done backstage

  • sound man boosts him in the mix or he has 2 different amps, switching to the solo one which is louder, or on his reandall mts, his lead channel is set higher, or if hes using a rectifier back in the day, hits the solo button, or if hes using a iic+ or mark IV back in the day, use the eq or put a db boost in the loop and kick it on. pheew... hope that answered your question.

  • Thanks.

  • i belive you speak of a volume pedal looks excatly like a wah except it raises your volume

  • Yeah, im awere of those, but i've never been a fan of those.... I was looking for a pedal that turns on and of and nothing else.

    Thanks

  • well the visual sound volume pedal is probaly the closest i could find ill keep looking for ya though it has leds on the side and the center led would most likely be normal and the top led is full and booted and the bottom is low the only problem ive seen with the pedal on demos is that to get to the bottom led it so much of a wide space

  • his tech does the boost or the sound man at the mixing desk raises his volume to an appropriate level

  • ive got 'm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So this is basically a Original Cry Baby with Kirk's name on it same with the Hendrix one.

At least Satriani's has 2 wah's in one and you can change some of the parameters.

  • ? - they all sound different

The Orgignal CryBaby is in the middle for tone

This Kirk Hammet one is on the treble side of the scale

The Jimi Wah is on the bassier side of the scale

Know what your talking about before you comment

  • Tell me...what Wah pedal did Kirk and Jimi start using when they first came on the scene?

Nevermind, I'll answer it: An ORIGINAL CRY BABY.

That's why all these Dunlop Sig Wahs are all bullshit, IMO. Every artist used the Original Cry Baby until they got their Signature wah anyways. So why not just spend the 80 bucks and get a classic cry baby.

  • yes you are right they did start with the original shitty wahs but Kirk switched to a Rackmount Wah long long long ago which is the sound I think alot of us have become accustomed to as he tweaked it to his own specs which is thicker and not as trebley as the original Dunlop. I tried it out and I think I will be purchasing the pedal. Sounds cool as shit though.

  • thats what i did xD...got me the ORIGINAL CRY BABY WAAAH ANDITS AWSOME! xD

  • Ummm....the only reason Kirk's WAH sounds more trebley is because of his AMP settings.

Kirk's tone WITHOUt a wah is very trebley.

  • I got my pedal yesterday! 2. oct. Its very nice and clean!

  • sounds quite nice clean

  • ordering one of these babys tomorrow!

  • did it today! :D maybe 6 - 10 days in shipping and its here! cant fucking wait!

  • ive already got it and its AWSOME!!!!!!

  • awsome!

  • my morley, bad horsie 2 steve vai signature sounds best...

  • this pedal is definitely not for clean.

the the FUCKIN KIRK HAMMETT WAH PEDAL!this is meant for brutal solos

  • HELL YEAH DUDE METAL UP YOU ASS!

  • @TwistedFlames23 brutal solos and hammet?dont joke

  • line 6 is bad , it's all about peavey I think

  • Line 6 sucks the only good amp they have is the Vetta II

  • line 6 isn't even worth mentioning. Its amps for fucking 9 year olds who don't know what tone is.

  • ive gotta get one of those

  • line 6 sux ass. marshall, mesa boogie and randall pwn 4 ever !

  • It depends, I agree with you on the lower budjet stuff, but amps like the vetta are incredible amps.

  • What bout peavey?

  • how about Roland?

  • lol at 1:18

  • tone factor for the toned deaf. "big sighs". this is why my metal days went from fro to woe..thanks to joanne and motorhead,

  • this one or 535q?

  • If you want a wah for metal take this one and if you want a wah thats versatile take the 535q.

  • ive just ordered a kh 202 ltd and im ordering the kh 125 half stack with the wah wah on this vid soon cant wait

  • getting the kh 602 and probably this pedal too, in a couple of days, gonna be awesome

  • then you are a really big kirk fan.

  • line 6 sucks. solid state. you made a bad purchase

  • That one fucking rocks!!!

  • i just orderd 1

  • lucky bastard ;)

  • i have the Dime From Hell for play metallica and it sounds very cool, specially live, but i want to have the KH95 to know how it sounds, why in this video he didnt play metallica??? battery, seek and destroy, sand man solos, to have an idea how it sounds???? because it was designed to play metallica stuff!!!!!!!!!!

  • Im in the same situation as you, I have the Dime wah but this seems A LOT smoother, but you can adjust the Dime wah a ton more. If you get the chance to try both tell me ur opinion please!!!!

  • do you mean the level of the pots for play???

  • on the dime? yea, there's the big one that has 5 positions on the right, along with the 3 on the left. On the KH there doesn't look like there are any adjustment dials at all

  • well... i dont know all the english necesary to explain very well the positions, but if you want i can make a video for the crybaby...

  • that would be PERFECT!! if you could that would help me out tremendously!!

  • ok, if you want subscribe temporally just for be the first in watch the video, it will be in tube aprox in one or two days

  • alrighty, no rush

  • I really want this! I know I will probably get flamed for saying this, but Kirk Hammett is my main influence. I would totally get this but I am out of money because I bought a Dime Crybaby From Hell wah one month before this was released! The CFH wah is excellent, but this matches Kirk's sound more than I can get mine to :(

  • Sounds Pretty Kewl!!! The only thing about Dunlop Wahs are the Volume changes as you move your toe back!!! I can't stand the volume changes!!! I actually have the Ibanez Tonelok that actually gets the job done. It produces the Black Album and Load type sounding wah of Kirk, which is what i like to play the most. my type of wah playing style.

  • I wished this guy had've expressed the lows on this thing a bit more, that's what it's mainly know for :(

  • i want that!

  • FUNKY!

  • awesom pedal!

  • slash wha wha....

  • the ORIGINAL crybaby wah is awesome...this wah kicks ass and so does the wylde wah. im not too crazy for the EVH wah though...

  • I didn't like it. Sounded poor on the cleans and the rhythm bits, shone through a bit on the solos but for the price you'd expect it to make you Kirk Hammett.

I prefer the ZW Wah pedal myself.

  • Which wah looks nicer? EVH Cry Baby or Kirk Hammet Cry Baby?

  • EVH all the way

  • I would've liked the EVH Crybaby (looks, not sound :P) if it was painted like Frankenstein/5150/1984, but I didn't like the Bumblebee guitar's painjob.

    So Kirk's all the way.

  • NWEOwner.

I don't like how your using it for a funk sound, thats not what its for.lol

    i 100% percent agre

  • ye its retarded playing funk with a wah thats made for metal, dont take me wrong, i have nothing against funk..

  • Do you think its better than Zakk's / Van Halen's??

  • why do you care whats better? its all opinions. If you want zakks sound get the zakk pedal. If you want van halens sound, get the van halen pedal, if you want kirks sound get kirks. its about what type of sound you want, not necessarily whats better.

  • Or you could just mod a standard VOX or Crybaby yourself to get any sound you like from it. Try it!

  • how do you mod a wah pedal cause that seems like fun.

  • Google 'BYOC' and check out the wah build there. I based my VOX mods off it, and can get any sound out of it now with external adjustment knobs.

  • fuck

  • i have the same shoes!

  • HAHA~~~you are cute

  • Nice Wah!

  • We try to show more than just one use for a pedal. If you watch the video until the end he uses the pedal for higher gain sounds.

  • where can you buy this at?....

  • Tone Factor.

  • omg!
