  • Great stuff !

  • Nice can you share the preset?

  • Very cool. Tele's are great!! Sounds awesome.

  • TSL-3 × →STL-3 ○

  • Yeah just throwing it out there your tone and use of a Telecaster fucking ruled in this man. Keep it up.

  • @brandon5pennies Hey thanks man! I actually don't own this telecaster anymore. I have a Fender 72 Deluxe now... whattahell maybe I'll make another video of the new tele.

  • that is the BIGGEST FAS Modern tone i've ever heard.

  • @cowboy66757 The tele sure adds a nice snarly agressiveness to the tone. FAS Modern has been categorized for purely djent music but as you might see here it will work for just about anything. Thanks man!

  • What do you mean when you say "drawing" those parts? Sounds great!

  • @richedie I mean I'm not playing them with a midi controller. I'm just writing them down in Guitar Pro into a drum track or writing the notes into a piano-roll inside Cubase.

  • Wow! Nice! How do you use Superior Drummer? Do you have to hit pads to get those drum patterns?

  • @richedie I'm drawing those drum parts. Actually in Guitar Pro and then just exporting them as midi and then modifying what's needed. I wish I had an electronic kit or a keyboard but I don't.

  • axe settings? how much drive? eq?

  • @SeanStephensen I can't remember the settings. This tone is all about the telecaster though.

  • Clark you are pretty damn good man!!

  • @recordjnky Haha. Thanks man! I try...

  • Thanks. Those pickups are Seymour Duncan tele pickups.

  • @clarkkentjob Seymour Duncan TSL-3?

  • @trashtomail Probably... Duncan only have like one tele set of pickups in their selection so that's the one I have in this video. :)

  • Love it. Awesome playing, tones, and production. What pickups are you using?

  • Could you share that superior preset? i absolutely love it man! i'm working in a similar style project and i can't seem to get it to sound this right!

  • @acompres

I don't have the Superior preset but I can remember what it was. It's the Avatar kit with NirZ snare. The kick was triggered with Deftones kick tone from White Pony. You can get them from Digital Bath's intro. :)

  • aaawesome song

yes, FAS Modern FTW, clearly one of the best models, everyones favourite it seems

  • @guitarDouchebaggery

Thanks! FAS Modern is very good, but not my favorite. ;) It's very versatile though but still I always end up using Bogner/Mesa/Diezel/Marshall.

  • Toi "pääriffi" eli särösoundinen jolla biisi alkaa on minusta hieno. Muutenki kyllä kaikkineen hyvä veto +

  • @efunkelist Tattista! :)

  • You should keep practicing, cause you're like 95% tight, and with some extra hours behind the metronome I think you'd be super awesome!

I say that with all respect, this song was awesome and so was your playing! Keep it up and knock'em down.

  • @tacklemcclean Sure I can take constructive critisism. :) I'm glad to be 95% tight... it's enough for me ATM. I'm going for groove over ultimate metronomic accuracy so that automatically takes the 5% percent away from tightness. :D

    Equal thanks to all yall!

  • good job!! fellow axe fxer :P

  • clark.... you got it! Don't change your tones!!!

  • @snowbrdr88 I don't have the patch anymore. :) I'm always changing them... thanks man!

  • awsome!!!

  • wow that was so awesome

  • Great playin', great song and a great own style! Perfect!

    RolandGuitar

  • @RolandGuitar Thanks man!

  • Very professional, great tones! I suppose you recommend the Axe-Fx over a similar priced amp (such as Engl Powerball or Invader)

  • @mindwalkr

Well I sold all my Mesa tube gear when I got this and I've never looked back. Sure I recommend it and you don't need an Ultra. I never regretted buying the Standard Axe-Fx. Personally I'm not a fan of the Engl tone but you still have it in the Axe-Fx so you can't go wrong. The only thing you do have to think about is that you can't run an Axe-Fx alone like a tube head. On gigs it works going line-in but in rehearsals you'll probably need some kind of amplification + cab.

  • Great work!!!

  • @RRsTiNkYfEeTs Thank you!!

  • Awesome song structure, great riffs, style and tone!

You've got something going on there, sounds like you should be signed to a record deal soon!

  • @Shredilicous

Ha... I hope I get to do this music thing for a living but music business in my country is so small that you have to be a TV-star first to be a musician. Thanks for digging!

  • Mahtipätkä! CKJ rokkaa ylipäätään melko mukavasti! Taisi KRK:n rokitit olla monitoreina? Oletko luukuttanu axea enimmäkseen niiden läpi? Jos, niin onko miellyttävä ratkaisu? Pitäisi kyseiset purkit kyseiseen tarkoitukseen hankkia, ehkäpä ehkäpä :) Jatkakaa hyvää toimintaa, kiitos!

  • @tuux0rz

  • Awesome song man! :O

I love your sound and style. Some extra stuff going on there. ;)

  • @Traxid

Thanks, I try to be modern but have a style of my own. I've never been this happy with my tone. Axe-Fx ended my GAS somehow.

  • @clarkkentjob I hope I will stop it to when my Axe comes. :D

  • @Traxid

Now that I have the Axe I can only GAS about guitars and I've already got too many. :) Hope it ends the GAS for you.
