@BaconTV123 orignally crab fisherman competed to catch the most crab but at a huge cost, because so many people were dying out to sea the fishing/ gaming departments changed the rules they have to make quotas instead of freefishing. they mentioned this in the pilot season a lot of small fishing companies went out of business.

I worked in Dutch Harbor for a year in 2006 and had no idea they were even doing a show about it. They kept it under wraps pretty good. Fierce Allegience visited our plant regularly, but we did polluck and I only worked in the crab plant twice.

Alot of people came to work in the plants hoping to get a spot on a boat, but I like solid ground under my feet personally.

Still, if I had known they were doing a show......
