Yes, Choy Gar is infact the origin of Wing Chun. Rat Style Kung Fu is what I'm planning on learning ^_^ its so hard to decide which one to pick if you wanted to learn kung fu- ISNT IT?! Its like, u got all these styles to pick from. * overwhelming *

Try and read the history of Wing Chun ;)

Legend has it that Wing Chun's lover, Leung Bok-Chao(who was a student of Choy gar) did in fact help to shape the style of Wing Chun. If so, then this is probably why the stances, and the short centred hand techniques have similarities in Choy gar and Wing Chun.
