I just think it's silly when people get all upset about the "DOCTOR WHO/CATS/CAKE/TEA/SHERLOCK" stereotypes, because- it's supposed to be silly. It's not like "ALL ACES MUST LIKE THESE THINGS" clearly. And I don't even like tea. =P *Le gasp.*
But you make some great points. I also try to make the whole "I'm like this, but..." distinction. You're amazing! ^__^
I don't feel like I have to explain to people if I experience a libido or not. I think that is my private information; thus it is easier for people who don't like to disclose that to explain the general idea of asexuality. I understand we need to educate but in every day life it is not our job to distinguish all of the subcultures of asexuality just like it is not a heterosexual's job to diffuse the subcultures of their sexuality.

But I agree on the more serious side of it with behaviour and feelings and how sexuality can be expressed. We're such a small group and while we don't have to get along we do need to support each other. Normal, what even is that.
