  • I had this surgery done twice in each hand. The first time I was awake and the regional anesthesia wore off extremely fast and the anestheiolgist had trouble getting my arm and hand numb. So for the remaining surgeries I was put to sleep.

  • i had broke my wrist in 2 places over a month ago ended up with cts. and had my surgery 4 days ago wow do i fell the diference now. i was put to sleep

  • @EricsKTM85xc Typically, you are not put to sleep, no. Only local anesthesia is necessary. :-)

  • i just had this done. i'm absolutely amazed how well it worked. if you are headed in this direction don't worry, it's a piece of cake. no need for sedation. you will enjoy being pain-free.

  • @bigoonapoona I am getting ready to have to done tomorrow morning and i am sooo nervous and scared. I then will have the other hand done in a couple of weeks after the first. Reading your post has KINDA relaxed my mind but i am still scared. Thanks for your post and words of encouragement.
