  • 50 did u say good car.....?

  • My dog would say hell naah

  • Niice

  • Beautiful dog, great training on your part, kudos!

  • How cool is this wonderful dog if i tried to give commands to either of my Dobermans

They might just look back at me and say?

... Hey coach, you want me to do what???

  • Hello, can I marry Lucy?! She is adorable...! Give her a kiss from me please! :)

  • 00:50 did you say good car .....

  • Awesome dog. How did you teach her that? Did you guys take an obedience course, did you teach her on her own, or is she just that smart?

  • @arcanaXx

Actually, she is just that smart.

  • @arcanaXx sHE IS JUST THAT SMART!

  • For me the most beautiful dog in the world.

  • beautiful dog and excellent training! I am so glad to see these videos...i think it will help shed light on the true nature of todays dobies...congrats on your amazing dog!

  • You should've given my good pal here a treat for her brilliant performance, and shes a true cutie.

  • What a good dog! How in the world did you train him to do that?

  • YES THAT WHAT I TALK !!!

  • this dog is............Awsome!

  • "good car".... Lmbo!!!!!!

  • how did u train ur dog to do that?

  • is the dog's name pussy? or did i hear wrong..?

  • @HeyBenDover I believe her name is Lucy x)

  • "GOOD CAR" LMFAO

  • I'm checking out breeders right now. I grew up with German Shepherds but want a Doberman now that I've learned more about them. The part I'm most looking forward to is training. Untrained, undisciplined dogs get on my nerves.

  • That was the coolest.

  • Wow. Great job. Do you think that girls are more obedient than the boys? That is what I have found with the few I have owned. My goofy boy would come back...but not THAT quickly.

  • Wow that's pretty amazing! Respect to you!

My Dobermann mostly comes back but she sometimes has the tendency to give me the "s*d you, I'm having to much fun right now" look and won't come back. Then again she's only about 8 months old.

How old is your dog and how long did you have to teach her to come back so obediently?

  • If a dog is not trained, is it a lesser dog?

  • Good car

  • best dog breed

  • Hey, how did u teach her that "free" command?? Beautiful dog by the way!

  • My Dobie has the same response to "his" whistle. It cracked me up hearing Lucy powerhouse through the bushes, your Dobie is so eager to please you that they'll take the fastest route possible to get to you. They ARE attention-hungry to those of you looking into owning a Dobie, so take them to the dog park. If you have a little one they'd make a great pair.

  • @KenniTheMonkey totally agree when you said "THEY ARE ATTENTION HUNGRY" i got a 4 month old dober and it will go anywhere i go even in the house wont leave my site for more then 30 second, and if i leave it for 1 min it will start to cry and start to search for me, its a good thing that he's attach to my brother too so when i go to work or school he will stay with my bro, but he love me more lol. WORD for those of you whose thinking of getting a dober, make sure you got LOT of time to be with it

  • He's pretty good

  • awesome!

  • How did you teach your dog to come instantly . . I'm amazed .

  • what a smart and beautiful doberman

  • Dobies are great dogs females too they are sweet but guarding dogs

  • So well trained! And a beauty too. Good job Lakeseminole.

  • Congrats to this well trained dog!

  • @kittikitteh yes i beat my dog so that he can obey me, but the other day i gave him a really haaaard punch in the skull and now he's strange, his left hear is down all the time and the head is in weird shape and he is always bleeding from his nose. I think i will give him his last beat (if you know what i mean) if there is no other solution.

    Any advice or idea?

  • That's amazing. Before we got our Doberman three months ago, I saw this video and was amazed at how well trained Lucy is. If you've got time and feel like sharing your tips for training, I would be appreciative to hear them. :)

  • amazing!!! lucy's a gorgeous one!

  • @lakeseminole oh well someone did tell

Me it was name suited for a boy so I'm happy about that. I plan on getting a male Doberman, since we have to many femal dogs right now :p we have a female husky,so does our dad,and our cousin has a female pitbull(puppy btw). So I thinks it's time to have a male dog in my life for once. And I love dobes I took the time to learn about them and they are perfect for me: a companion dog that will stick by my side no matter what :)

  • the energy and agility and quality obedience here remind me of Hunter, my read dob of 15 years. He's transitioned now and leaves great love and legacy. Excellent video and excellent work, you guys perform great!!!

  • @kailuagirl87 cool I'll be sure to research before I get one :) oh btw, is the name Revy good for a male dog or a female dog?

  • @firetools Not certain!

  • @kailuagirl87 u are right about the outside and not obnoxious thing except I'm alittle short on the leadership thing. I'm gonna have to work on that, since our husky isn't exactly our most obedient dog in our history :p even though the dog is my sisters since my dad got the dog for her on Christmas

  • @firetools yea but huskies have a more stubborn personality than dobies. Dobermans are far more easy to train, butyou do have to mean what you say to a dobie because until they know their role, they will find ways to try and manipulate you. they are very intelligent, but eager to please the ones they respect. Good luck if you get one! Just do plenty of research before you get any type of powerful dog.

  • That dog can boogie....

Awesome breed. I am firmly in the belief that if the tail and ears arent docked and cropped.....

    It AINT a Doberman

  • Comment removed

  • @LOKISlog7 It truly is a shame to cut and dock however this IS THE BREED. And as a side note, the "junkyard type mentality" has been bred out of this breed over the past 10 to 20 years. Dobermans are absolutely LOVE sponges and want to be involved with your family. Just because they were bred to look protective does not mean they can't be with a family group. If you want a true companion dog, then a Doberman is for you.

  • @lakeseminole Agree 100% Our family was lucky enough to have one. She brought us nothing but joy and happiness. She was loyal, happy and healthyl and yes we had her ears cropped and tail docked. If I ever get another one, I will do the same. Lucy reminds me of our Sadie. Thanks for sharing.

  • @lakeseminole Its a minipincher !!

  • @Mickyjakson minipinschers max out at 12lbs. so no it's not a mini pinscher. the musculature and skeletal structure are very different as well

  • @lakeseminole can you tell me what female dobes' personality are like? i've read they can be more moody than the males...or is that just when they're not spayed?

  • @lakeseminole My family have owned 2 of them. It's my favorite breed of dog; and my personal opinion on the practice of cropping and docking.

  • @LOKISlog7 as a small child i had two and i grew up with them i think breed standards should be cropped and docked.they are amazing family dogs super loving, they take care of there family and i just think this is one of the best breeds out there!!

  • @LOKISlog7 and THAT's a fact~!

  • @LOKISlog7 thats just really stupid thats like saying if a person isnt sercumsized its not a guy.....of course since you arent probably too bright u wont understand this

  • @Amanda95129 I am bright enough to understand the word, meaning, and correct spelling of the words circumcised or circumcision. Something about not throwing stones in glass houses..........

btw; There is such a thing as spell check; for the next time that you try to make yourself seem educated and witty. Now run along like a good little tree hugger.

  • @LOKISlog7 oh yea srry i dont care about wat u think enough to spell correctly and u just made yourself look like an idiot because me thinking thst people can do matter ever they want with their dog doesnt make me a tree hugger idiot that doesnt even have ne thing to do with wat i said...just in case u didnt no a tree hugger is someone who protects nature whish i am not i just think that if someone wnats a doberman with beautiful natural ears they can have one and its still a dobetman idiot.

  • @Amanda95129 ???????????

  • @LOKISlog7 Well then your "belief" SUCKS.

  • @LOKISlog7 wat the fuck it is a doberman

  • @LOKISlog7 really? what is it then?

  • Comment removed

  • I admire how calm you are. I would be in panic, if my dog ran away, in spite of the fact that I know my dog is well-trained. :) Always being calm is hard to me, but it is very important for dog trainers.

  • @Borimudi When you bring you dog up with a tremendous amount of love and attention, SHE DOES NOT WANT TO LEAVE YOU. She will run and investigate but will return to YOU.

  • Such a lovely and smart gal..♥

  • he looks free 0:17

  • hi could you tell me how to make my doberman puppy (4months) not to bite me

  • @mohsen7bob awwwwwwwwwwww well biting is just a part of being a baby! Introduce toys between your hand and her mouth always.

  • @mohsen7bob might be a little late to reponse but at 4 months is when they puppy start to teeth so without toys to chew on it will chew on anything, i got a 4month old and i give him dental bone, toy tire, raw bone [make sure its big so he cant swallow it]. and i always feed my dober puppy food off of my hand an he never once bit me.

  • beautiful

  • How much excersise does a dobe need ? I plan on getting one when I move out of the house and complete colllege

  • A fair amount.

  • @firetools if you are a fat lazy son of a bitch, i would recommend maybe a little toy dog or a cactus plant. but if you are active and enjoy the outdoors, and you are also in control of your life, confident in your leadership skills and are not a loud obnoxious person then a Dobe would be perfect for you lol.

  • Beautiful! My male Dobie pup (Kenzo, 8 months) is SUCH a sensitive baby, he is already 60 lbs but is one big marshmallow! He follows me around the house everywhere, and loves falling asleep on my lap (he thinks he's still the size of a yorkie! lol) These are absolutely NOT junkyard dogs, they NEED loving companionship, and will literally go through fire for you if you're a good owner! I have a 2 yr old daughter and he already looks out for her, they're inseperable! :) <3

  • @ lakeseminole

WHAT A BEAUTY! I have one year old male dobie who's red an black.

    How old is lucy?

  • She is absolutely gorgeous! And such a good girl.

  • She is beautiful! I had a Dobie and she passed away. I am getting another one. My dog was playful and so funny.

  • Thats Something!!! Wow!!! You got your dog trained. You got a good dog there.

  • beatiful dog! very well behaved! did you train her totally? or obedience school too?

  • aww im ganna save up my money and get a doberman i luv them kinda dogs i have a jack ruessle and a bull dog but yeah i really want a doberman they are so adorable! :)

  • She is lovely. I am seriously consdiering getting my first Doberman. What I'd like to ask you is have you had her around cats at all? I want to find a Dob that will be friendly to cats and I know it can happen. You did a lovely job of training her. Nothing I respect more of dog woners then a well behaved dog. Good job! I hope to do the same someday.

  • @meezerlover You can train them to accept cats!

  • @lakeseminole how do you train him like that ?? please teach me

  • @meezerlover You really should get one. ive had my doberman debo for 4 years. he listens very well. they look mean and everyone thinks they are vicious but they are very goofy in reality. theyre great dogs. very smart.

  • I love Dobermans and have since I was a young child. I am very drawn to their strength and their loyalty. Lucy seems to be a great ambassador for the breed and I was wondering why you decided on a Dobey and whether or not you have any tips for some one who's thinking about adding one to their family?

    She's an awesome dog!

  • I'm impressed! I need to train my doberman to do that - how blessed you are to have such a great dog, I'm glad to have mine :-)

  • DAMN!!!!!!!! What a well trained job. amazing job

  • I WANT ONE WELL TWO ACTUALLY!!!

  • DAMN lol that things like a missile on legs

  • I agree i have 2 dobermans myself they are a special breed. You do not take them for granted. They are loyal, and love you wholeheartedly.

  • hi lakeseminole i have 2 dobes both boys and they r brothers and i just wanted to tell the commenters that dobes r not dangerouse and that they r very good with kids if they grow up with a young one from their puppy days aka im only 10 also my dobes were very easy to train both my just turned 1 year old dobes ( dino and Bishop ) know how to sit lay down roll over stay go r potty trained goes to bed guard and walk away when annoyed by my brothers n sisters ( victoria victor alex carmelo n me 5)

  • She is a beauty!! :) I Love Lucy...

  • actually with there ears cropped they have less chance of getting infection, and depending on what you want them for it makes them more alert by helping with sound. got nothing for the tail though.

  • @catplr345c The Doberman's tail is long and fragile, much like a Weimaraner's tail. If the tail is caught on something, there is a good chance that the tip (or more) could be torn off. This could lead to infection and ultimately amputation of the entire tail which is very stressful on the dog later in life, so a lot of people dock the tail while the pups are young and in a controlled environment. It's a safety thing and a preventative measure.

  • Beautiful dog! Very regal.

  • Love it! What a beautiful animal. I have wanted a nice Dobe for many years now. I am waiting until I retire from the military and settle down before I get one though :(

  • I love this video!!! I have a 14 week dobie and he is amazing already! I really hope I can train him this well! He responds well to commands I just don't know what to do to make him obey me ALL of the time despite distractions... I hope it will work when he is older!

You've got a beautiful baby!!! I've found Doberman owners are very loyal to the breed... They just give so much love!

  • Wow He is very fast!!!

  • good car?

  • i love this video!! I get my dobe in 9weeks cant wait

  • how in the world did you get her to do that? any tips besides patience and love?

  • Sounded like he said free.... generally just tellin the dog have fun I guess lol

  • wat did he say to make em run.. wats that for?

  • How old is she? Shes beautiful

  • 6 years old now!

  • I think I want one, but I don't want a dog that I can't have around kids or other dogs or other people. Pple say they are nice dogs, but pple say the same about Pitt Bulls and I know they not good tempered dogs, Pitts I mean.

So what would you say about Dobermans?

  • I would say they are love sponges. However Lucy tolerates young kids. She doesn't like them poking and prodding her. It's torture for her to be around them so I don't permit that.

  • @dfrutled You can't always judge temper by breed; I've owned Dobermans who were the absolute sweetest things, and some who were so dominant that we couldn't even keep them inside anymore no matter how much we tried to work with them. It goes for ANY breed.

Generally the BEST dogs with kids are Pitbulls; they were called Nanny Dogs in the old days for that reason. BUT, I'd say get experience with other breeds first; Pits need training from one with experience. Try small dogs first maybe.

  • Comment removed

  • @dfrutled Pitts are good tempered dogs. Its all about the owners. You would know this if you had studied dogs at all or had any idea how to train them.

Do not buy one of these dogs until you have read books about training, have a large house with a garden and are able to take them for hours of exercise 3-4 days a week.

  • that dog is fast !!!! and very well trained

  • good training...... she is so cute! u said good car..... lol. cite dog.

  • she is beautiful and very well trained!

  • Not smart...

  • That is some INCREDIBLE speed

  • @MrWrestlingMMAFan right? and i thought greyhounds were fast? lol.

  • Wow this is really impressive :) How long have you been training Lucy?

I don't have any dog yet but I'm interested in getting one as soon as I move in a bigger house. I also wanted to ask: is it true that Dobermans are dangerous? Did Lucy ever engage an aggressive behavior against you?

    Thanks

  • Good lord no. She is a love sponge. Wants to be at your side continously. She loves to go to Lowes and Home Depot with me. Here is Fla, we have lots of outdoor restaurants which permit dogs. She is enjoyed by everyone. The problem with Dobermans is people see them portrayed in movies like killer junk yard dogs. You could train any dog to do that!

  • @lakeseminole Beautiful looking Dob, I had one did the the show curcuit thing, he became champion of show at 9 mths. old, believe me he was no quard dog, people counldn't believe what a big baby he was, my foundest memory of him was when I walked down the street with him how he pranced like a Carlsberg horse, people used to stop me all the time, and ask me why he walks that way,

    I miss him deeply ( Jesse )

  • @anas6969 if you havent had a dog before don get a doberman

  • you have way to much time on your hands...........

  • thats awesome!! i JUST bought a red doberman puppy

  • Now that's what I call really good standards! Brilliant!! :-D

  • shes gorgeous!!

  • wow u have done an amazing job of showing this breed their true colours - loyal, intelligent, beautiful, u could go on for ages!! excellent vid

  • if u let it out in a park where there is a bunch of ppl the ppl will be all lik "oh snap!!!!!! let gtfo of hur!!!!"

  • BEAUTIFUL! But........be VERY careful. Some people are TERRIFIED of Dobes. I wouldn't want to see her get shot or anything running loose in a park like that. I'm really paranoid about that with my poochie Franz. Everybody carries guns down here, and they don't know he's a sweetie-pie.

  • i miss my doberman...she was amazing so smart...

  • wow nice work

  • i want a doberman

  • fuck. that is so cool. nice bonding you have. the trust is really there. kip it up.

  • holy shit, she could outrun a horse!

  • how long did it take you to train her to do that?

  • that was awesome. your dog is beautiful and really smart it looks like. nice job.

  • damn boy! dobermans are the best

  • Oh my goodness!! What awesome training! We have a 17 week old Doberman named Gunnar and we work with him consistently with lots of love and praise! I hope he can one day be this well trained!!

  • Im just curious, but is croppibg or docking a dogs tail for looks or is there a reason to it? prolly dunb question but always wondetred why, and I want a doberman, i love them dogs or canine, which ever you prefer. lol.

  • Wow you did a great job training her! She's beautiful too.

  • how did you get her so well trained? absolutely gorgeous! i hope our lil' puppy will be like that some day! =)

  • Awsome love the breed! Is it me or did tht dog hual ass!!(as in really really fast)

  • shut the hell up already about cropping and docking thebrighttapestry they are not in pain and people do it for good reasons not just for looks...this breed was a man made dog and man will do whatever he pleases....maybe you should read up on the doberman breed and see why they actually perform these procedures so shut the fuck up peta bitch

  • Very beautiful dog Lakeseminole, Very glad to see you took the time to train her properly unlike a lot of people who get them and don't spend anytime with them...Leaving either an unobeidient dog or a vicious one.

  • I used to have a doberman named pepper cause that's all he would eat strange dog but he was well trained and good around kids somebody stole him never found out who but I am thinking about getting another one when we move to a house someday LOL she is fast

  • why is your doberman obedient? mine is dumb? all he does is kill cats... i think mine already killed 7 cats this month... and im planning on killing him.

  • @freders1720 lol...our dobermans is the same way but luvs to kill anything that is in his (territory) backyard

  • @freders1720 Uh, dude, keep your dog confined properly! If he's that dangerous then it's your fault for not keeping him on a leash or in the yard/house. And obviously you haven't trained him properly or don't give him proper attention, so he takes out his frustrations by hunting smaller animals. If you trained him a lot of tricks and spent time with him, and exercised him enough in a controlled manner instead of running around loose, he wouldn't have started that.

  • @ZaCloudDZX Your retarded, the dog wasn't doing anything dangerous, and dobies are very well mannered. If you don't know the situation then don't comment on it, unless you enjoy looking like an asshole.

  • @novaclub25 I know it's hard to follow conversations on YouTube now that they RUINED the comment system, so I won't get angry with you. I was replying to a guy who said his doberman was running around killing cats all the time, and he's contemplating killing the dog. Like I said, it's usually not the dog's fault, it needs patience and proper management/training. ANY dog can be dangerous without it, breed notwithstanding. (Owner of two beloved dobies here btw)

  • @thebrighttapestry

Ever ask a guy whether he remembers getting circumcised after he was born? We all know the answer to that. There are valid reasons why dobies are cropped and docked. You, obviously, know very little about the breed.

  • I would definitely agree with you on this subject, even as an owner. When I got Lucy, at the age of two, she was already cropped and docked. Today, many vets will not do this for owners. If you think about it, would you want someone to cut and shape YOUR EARS? It makes the breed look stunning but clearly, many would argue this is the wrong thing to do.

  • @lakeseminole I can agree with most of that esp with the ears...but IF you know Dobermans much they can have tail problems bc often their tales get broken when they swing them and its often recommended by doberman specialists for the dobermans safety. The ears is just for the look so that can be cruel to do.

  • @lakeseminole Don't they dock the tails at 2-4 days after birth when they have relatively little nerves in their tails? I just don't know if cropping really compares either at the young age that it goes on... would you not compare it to circumcision?

  • @lakeseminole THANK YOU. I'm tired of this egotistical shit. We have a ped in our family, and he's only 10 months old. He's got the most amazing big paws and floppy ears. He loves it when i gently, deftly scratch him under the black, inside of them. There's no no way they'll dock his tail.

He'll leave the way he came into the world.

  • @lakeseminole i think they look beatuful the way they are, and it doesnt hurt them at all. i think no other breed can top these dogs. theyre fun, loving, caring, and a GREAT family pet. so if u wan to say something about these dogs, it should be a compliment. and its better for the dogs to have theyre ears cropped because they can hear better! if you dont think that they looks good with docked tails and cropped ears then find a different breed to love. because the doberman certainly isnt yours!!

  • @thebrighttapestry

Oh get over it. I bet you wouldn't spank your kid either when they act up. Nature DID not intend for you to have a spoiled brat. My Doberman has a tail crop and floppy ears and she was fine with her tail chopped off.

  • @thebrighttapestry thats your opinion, if you dont like it dont watch this video

  • @thebrighttapestry

So what's your position on spading and neutering? Leave them as nature intended? Nature didn't create these dogs. Herr Dobermann did after many years of selective breeding. It's no accident that these are classified as working dogs. Cropped ears and docked tail helps them in their work.

How much pain are baby boys in after they're circumcised? Do you go around preaching against that? Didn't think so.

  • @thebrighttapestry Shut your pathetic hippy loving mouth...you know nothing about the point of ear cropping, it's to restore normal function to the ear in terms of hearing, prevent the soft tissue from being ripped off by an attacking dog, and restores proper airflow to avoid ear infections which are 10X more painful for a dog than a few days after the first cut.

As nature intended? This dog was made by man, bred through many different breeds, it was MEANT to have cropped ears dumbass

  • @thebrighttapestry Sorry.....no it is not wrong....the floppy hound dog ear leaves the dog who is already prone to them.....with ear Infections galore!!! I see them every day as a groomer and their natural tail looks like a jump rope leaving it open to constant BREAKS....you have no idea what you are talking about HIPPIE

  • @thebrighttapestry That's what I say about circumsition but people just wont listen lol

  • @thebrighttapestry i have a doberman with natural ears but cropped tail it was already cut :( but with his natural ears he still is such a hansome dog i love when i come home from work he comes barreling down the hall with a huge smile and his floppy ears

  • She's like a punchline to a joke. Wait for it ... waaait... "Free." BAM! HA HA Wooow!

  • BOY IS SHE FAST! we had a very sweet Doberman named Dobie! he was such a good boy! He passed away last June. He was such a good dog! we miss him so much! I LUV Dobermans! They're so sweet and REALLY REALLY SMART!

  • BOY IS SHE FAST!! We had a Doberman named Dobie. he was such a good boy! He passed away last June. We miss him so much! I LUV Dobermans! they're so sweet and REALLY REALLY smart!!!

  • she is fast!!!

  • Sometimes, I delude myself into thinking that I could outrun a dog if the situation ever called for it. It's videos like this that remind me how wrong I am.
