i love the books, and if i think of the series as something different and ignore the mixing up and stuff it is also good. Lol, i think i actually prefer this Ty, he never gets any credit for anything XD

he was. and i think Lou had an english accent too because she lived in England, i think. and Ty was never the hardcore bad boy like the show makes him seem. he worked with the mother for years before she died, and worked at Heartland for a long time. he was also a trainer as well as a stablehand.

@FamilyLife99 in principple the series is right. Ty was a stable hand, but not an ex-con. and he was already on the farm before the accident. Marion thought he had a gift to and offered him the job. And yes Tim was englisch.

I hated the fact they changed Tim Fleming into a rodeo rider, since I do find that cruel but I don't HATE the series. I like it. It's nice seeing the characters on screen. It doesn't matter about the western riding thing either. It's the STORY and PLOT that matter, it's got the same characters although some things have been changed. If you hate it, stick to the books. If you like it, enjoy it and enjoy the books, never mind the differences

I hate it the way the story has changed so much that they ride Western...Tim Fleming WAS A SHOWJUMPER not a fuckin' rodeo rider, I think Amy would be disgusted in the book if she thought anyone rode in a rodeo in her family. she rides english, too. UGH

I dont think its western riding that's upsetting people, its the fast that the books were based on English riding so it makes it totally different.

I thought that at the beginning, but I actually quite like the western twist :)

But I do think that it was better as Tim Fleming being a showjumper, but thats just what I'm used to because Ive read the whole book series and loved it :)

I don't think the MCRtheblakparade737 person was burning western riding. I think she was just annoyed, like i was, that they changed this series so much in comparison to the book. Changing styles of riding makes everything they do completely different. People who understood what happened in the books are completely lost when watching the series, and visa versa with people who watch the series and are new to the books. Get me?

i think thats exactly what a lot of people are feeling! I've read all the books sooooo mnay times i had to repleace some of them and this show changes to many fundemantials that it isn't actually like the books in the end

for example Ty already worked there and wasn't related to crime, they acted different, NO LITTLE BLONDE GIRL, lol and they rode english as previously mentioned. well done for clarifying the point for people socialist18
