My phone is a 3g 3.1.2 version 5.11.07. The phone goes into a loop if it runs out of battery or if it feels like it. this is not new, it has done it before I unlocked it this way. I unlocked it once before this way, but now that I try to do it again it does not work, any advice? I have tried using spirit to jailbreak and then do this, but it doesn't work. Ideas please.

i never tried it on 3gs. Google the custom firmware for 3gs 3.1.2. The link i posted in the description is for 3g only.

i just tried to restore with custom 3.1.2 for 3gs, it works untill i load blackrain from cydia, after install there is written "searching.." and after i reboot the iphone freezes with booticon again.

and blackrain via computer doesnt work too, because after jailbreaking, there is no icon for blackrain..

it says no service i know i hear alot of talk about a turbo sim. not really sure what that is. I am on tmobiles edge network. I restored the firmware to your custom version and did everything exactly as you have in your video. It just states that i have no service.

reboot iphone and see if it changes to searching. If that doesnt work open ifunbox and go to the directories shown in the video and check if the files u added are there.

i did all of the above. I power cycled the iphone and when it first turned on it said searching then went to 5 dashed lines when i went in to the about in the settings part of the phone under network it says not available.

dont run blackrain just restore with the custom firmware (link is the description) and it will jailbreak and install cydia. Then open ifunbox to unlock and will see the same directory.
