I wasn't really into batman all that much. Making a feature film based on a cartoon is a tricky thing. For me personally the cartoony bits usually don't work that well in a movie. Unless it's done the way like the Matrix or for instance Batman Begins. For that reason Christian Bale is the only Batman i can take seriously.

I liked the two Keaton-movies a lot, then I saw Val Kilmer and thougt: why he is the new one, he wasn't expressive! And then, there was George Clooney, I only watched it cause Alfred was the same actor like in the old movies. I didn't want to look Batman Begins, but when I saw Christian Bale I watched it, and it and The Dark Knight got my favourite ones!

Val Kilmer all the way nailed that in acting. Batman is this hes dark, ass whole, prefers to work alone, and even after taking Joker, Catwoman, and Penguin he still blames himself for his parents death when he said i killed them.
