Hmmm, I recently got this game. It is ok, I the older ones better, well carbon was pretty bad and pro street I did't even played. Anyways, after I play for about 5min my sound start to "flicker" , then outsence start to come up , I have a REALTEK AC97 soundcard, installed new drivers, and removed soundman autosense, but still sound in the game start to flicker and my pc restart..Anybody can help me out ? Would be great :O)

Sounds like its a problem with the game itself. Try reinstalling or replace the version you got from wherever you got it.

It could also be a overheating issue. Try taking of the CPU case panel and see if that helps. Maybe even blow a fan on it.

Other than that all I can recommend is do a google search and see if other people are having your problem.

Hi, nah it's not the game. It's with most games that I play on my pc. Crysis,nfsc, comman and conquer tiberium wars or what the name is, even with NFSMW witch ran fine before, I got this before rite before nfsmw came out. I have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core prosessor 4200+ 2.21GHZ 2gb ram Gforce 7800GT ready for sli. Counter strike work with the sound , and NFSMW use to run fine with this, but not now, and not nfsuc either.

Yup totally sounds like overheating. I would recommend buying a new power supply and if your case has slots for more fans, put more on.

With your description I'm almost certain that's the problem.

If you have the money, I would recommend the 700w OCZ gameXstream power supply. It should solve your problems.

Of the main set yes. I get requests for these sort of things that I slowly get to to do more footage. But honestly, with all the new games coming out it takes a pretty long time to get a chance to do some requests.

My computer has crashed once in the 6 months I've had this computer and that was because I had a game that was trying to run off the wrong DLL files and cause a massive memory leak. I bet consoles crash more often than that.

Also, name me any FPS game, take a controller, give me a mouse and keyboard, and let's deathmatch. We'll see which control method is better.

That totally depends on your views. I'd go so far as to say a PC is actually better in nearly every way.

For FPS for example there is no way you'll ever beat a mouse for accuracy. It just can't be done on a crontoller. Add to that a mouse does "turning" much easier and more intuitively then a stick and the PC has movement on its side too.

Crashes are very much a shared problem. I know for a fact consoles suffer as well from crashes, memory loss/corruption, and simply death.

One thing I'll always admit that consoles have over computers. It's not NEARLY so often for console games to be released unplayable until the first patch. That has happened a number of time with PC games. Then again, that's not really the PC's fault.

Indeed, most of the time anyone has a fault with a PC game its due to a mistake on the designer's part, not the PC's lack of ability.

Well personally i prefer consoles, ive been playing consoles for 10 years and never had any major problems. And it feels a lot more natural to play a racing game on an xbox 360 for example due to the triggers as the trottles and the brakes. I guess its just personal prefrence. But i have had a lot of trouble with pc games so i prefer a seperate machine for a seperate purpose.
