  • my subwoofer loves this song.

  • Man, this joint is a masterpiece\ When I listen I just let my mind release

It's in my Ipod never leaves repeat\ Respect to the greatest Dilla rest in peace

It's funny how life is apart of death\ Wonderin' when I'll take my final breath

So I live, everyday like I'm free\ Enjoyin' eargasms from these Dilla beats

As long as I live, Dilla lives in me\ And Ima pass it on through my family tree

Ima spread the word like a cancer grows\ And never stop, til the whole world knows

    ....

    Keep it going!

  • how did i get here , where the fuck am i from,

write down my thoughts cuz, im lyrically hung

deep sleeper, mind deceiver headed to the top,

33 steps and im on my way, no stoppin

ignore the nonsense and all the crazy concepts

just drop it, everythings so on ice, bass makes you tingle and feel alright

  • You tube needs a replay button! This beat is soooo good

  • @yardey lol it already has one. you gotta wait to the end until it appears on screen after the video is finished.

  • @toadstyle101 yeah I see it now, does that mean it will continually loop this song?

  • @yardey oh i see wat u mean, u want it looped automatically. no unfortunatly not, they really should make that a feature on yt.

  • damn dude i was just saying that as i watched the video right now. RIP Gary Coleman, Dilla Dawg, and Baatin

  • THE RAIN IS FALLING!

  • @1Prevent it's actually "the rain is fine"

  • wow thats really sad i seen the video of this song i noticed 3 people had died R.I.P Jay Dee,Baatin,Gary Coleman

  • ingredients: tomita, steve miller & al b sure

  • @SCHM00VNESS

that Al B.Sure sample at the end makes the track sound mystic.

  • Dope beat

  • WHO OWNS BARAK RECORDS????

  • @jbillaa I looked it up, it said some dude named "Dj Scrap Dirty", pretty cool.

  • this version is different then the album version I hear, this samples the end of "fly like an eagle" in the chorus sample, the slum village version samples the "Space Intro" intro.

    Im a little confused.

  • The sample is Isao Tomita - Clair De Lune its from his 1974 album

Dilla was a fuckin genius R.I.P. "They Say The Good Die Young"

  • Dilla sampled form Mood - Millenium produced by HI-TEK on this one. Both are HIP HOP classics that Mood album is underrated to.

  • when i heard the fly like an eagle loop i couldnt believe how amazing this sounds.

  • @djfelixproductions yo i'm not cocky dude but i make beautiful music check it out

  • one of the dopest cuts ever...

  • @thompy714 yo i'm not cocky dude but i make beautiful music check it out

  • Yes your so on this beat

  • @kcmillz1 yo i'm not cocky dude but i make beautiful music check it out

  • Sample in the beginning is Japanese electronic music composer Isao Tomita. I don't recall the name of the song, but the sample is on the 1974 RCA release "Snowflakes are Dancing".

Although the J-Dilla produced version that's posted here is missing the long intro where you can actually distinguish the sample in full clarity. Ill track none the less. Thanks to dakingofdano for posting this HD version.

  • @CMARVEL yeah I know what you're talking about, although you can't beat the quality of this dope production

  • @CMARVEL

    Isao Tomita and Claude Debussy-

    Clair De Lune

  • @TurcoDon I forgot to come back to update the name of the track after I dug up my record, but thank you much sir.

  • @CMARVEL If it wasn't for Dilla I wouldn't have discovered the amazing music of Tomita. His music is so creative and ahead of its time just as Dilla's music is.I actually got "Snowflakes Are Dancing",used for about $2.I would've paid $100 for it if I had to.The entire album has sample worthy shit but honestly it's just gr8 music. The name of the tune Dilla used for this is called "Gardens In The Rain".

  • @dubbsway4life I concur... I first discovered Isao Tomita back in 2002. I immediately distinguished the sample for "Too Late" off of Reflection Eternal's Train Of Thought album, from which DJ Hi-Tek sampled Isao Tomita's version of - Passepied and Reverie as well as. Haha, good thing for portable turntables, as it's made record digging for me that much easier to find good music as well as finding classics that have been sampled but gone undiscovered by most. Thank you for posting the song title.

  • @CMARVEL I'm actually wrong about the song.So my bad on that, lol.Apparently it's "Clair De Lune".I'm not too familiar with the Tomita album yet.I just bought it a week ago, listened to it probably 2X.Yea but thanks for the feedback.I can tell you a true hip hop head.Peace !

  • @CMARVEL Space Intro/Fly Like An Eagle/Wild Mountain Honey - The Steve Miller Band (1976) & Isao Tomita Gardens in the Rain is all I know
