another great thing is by the notoriety that they get will undoubtly make at least a few kids out there voluteer to maybe take a violin or veola from music class. by mixing these string instruments with hip hop they made these instruments more interesting and even sexy. maybe someone will take it a step furher and do something with a woodwind, or brass. if anyone out there hast heardof hidden beach, check it out. same premise but a complete jazz band.

the most amazing thing is that now you see comercials on tv for classes to become a video game designer, and music and video producers. while i do not knock anyone trying to better themselves in whatever they do, it is great to see anyone "especially young black men" doing something out of the mainsteam that they love. i played french horn and trumpet in eleme. and middle school in south philly, and endured endless teasing and jokes on way home. i can imagine what these cats put up with.
