  • This video is NWS.

  • Unlike other subjects --- like chemistry, computer science, English, finances, etc. --- from 1st grade through college, fundamental MATHEMATICS can be dealt with, CAN BE LEARNED, using nothing but simple pencils & papers & 2-3 DONATED books, published in the 1950-80s.

The boys & girls who are able & willing to SUFFER & sit for HOURS & HOURS each day doing mathematics --- doing addition & fraction all the way to algebra & calculus --- will, eventually, overtake all others, in other fields.

  • Being so impoverished, there are only 2-3 fields that are open to SOME young Hmong boys & girls in Laos & Thailand... that allow them to compete with the brightest from the West...

Of those FIELDS, one would likely take them higher and further than any others: mathematics.

The nature of the brains is such that, SOME individuals --- regardless where they're born, or to whatever parents (literate or not) --- are born with a superior, innate ability to recognize & deal with PATTERNS of nature.

  • very sad too see our people live in such extreme poverty like that especially the kids. Those kids would never have the chance to go to school. Education is the only key to the future. Very sad!

  • how did that guy died?? poor thing. died on vacation

  • @yajmy80 i believed he was poisoned by someone. when his dead body arrived in minnesota, his face has dark blue spot all over his body as was poisoned.

  • kuv xav mas tej zaum daim movies now qub lawm.. vim tom qab no nes twb pauv lawm...

  • And last question is:

Q: 3. If they get extremely sick, what will they do and how will they pay off if visited hospital.

  • @jackchang69 1) no job what-so-ever. Major group - seeking day labor during the day return home at night. The rest do sewing stuff to sell in the U.S., small portion of it - open small booth to sell food items, clothing, etc. 2) No Job what-so-ever. Walk and knock on every Thai door asking to see if anyone would want day labor! that's all. 3) if you are sick? over the counter does not help? luck would run out quick. But the best thing about Thailand is that if you have the money,

  • @jackchang69 .... you can buy almost any prescription of medications over the counter such as In Vane injection (IV Injections), Penicillin, streptomycin, etc. and do it yourself.

  • @jackchang69 ANY THOUGHTFUL INDIVIDUALS SHOULD DO YOUR BEST GENEROSITY TO HELP OTHER HMONG BACK HOME AND CHINA. THERE IS NOTHING TOO SMALL OR TOO BIG. $100 YOU CAN BUY BOOKS AND PENCILS FOR THE ENTIRE SMALL SCHOOL STUDENTS. $10,000 YOU CAN BUILD A BRICK 2 CLASSROOMS (2 SLEEPING CORNERS) AND ALL NECESSARY EQUIPMENTS FOR THE ENTIRE HMONG VILLAGE. SO, INSTEAD OF DUMPING FOR 2-3 USED CAR? DO SOMETHING FOR OUR HMONG BACK HOME OR CHINA. I DID MY PART.

  • Thanks for posting this video. I always want to visit Thailand to see how other Hmong people live, but never have the chance because I heard bad rumors about traveler visiting Thailand, such as robbing, killing for money. I was born there but moved to the US when I was 3 years. I never thought there conditions will be that bad. I have questions to ask you since you visited Hmong People in Thailand.

Q: 1. What do Hmong people do for a living in Thailand?

Q: 2. Are there general jobs for them?

  • I love the cute fat baby the little girl was carrying. God bless those children.

  • do you have more vid of this place, cause it's really interesting.

  • I left one day and a half night before his death, but there were other circumstances that were highly suspicion about things before I heard his news.

  • I can't say much either because I was not there with them. But circumstance did pointed out to suspicion death. From I heard, after four of them visited Bankok zoo, they return to the hotel and went down to have dinner. After the dinner, they went up to thei hotel room, he suddenly fail to floor and died.

  • Was it suspected of murder then if he was poisoned?

  • @touandsoua

It was highly suspicion, but no supporting evidence. Plus, it happened in Thailand, and it sounds as no strong relatives to pursue the case.

  • @YawmZajlaug

That really sucks man. If I were his family, I wouldn't know what to do or feel.

  • how did he died? got poisoned?

  • @ntxub20

I think so. I left them in Bank Kok and when I got to the U.S., new already reached me that one of them already dead. When his body return to Minnesota, it kind of having blue spot all over his face more like poisoning (neeg noj yeeb). I have no clue what happen because I was not there.

  • @YawmZajlaug

I got so sick in Laos/Thailand after being there for a few days. I think the food was unsanitary. Came back to US and was still sick for 2 weeks. I will never go back to Laos/Thailand.

  • @Sprinbrooks

Yeah, you are right. I left Laos when I was 16 and I knew how Laos was (is) that's why i never return to Laos. I been to Thailand twice, china about a dozen times. But, I stayed away from Laos.
