It is good for the children to meet their Principal during this session. I have some wonderful memories of school assemblies with the little fresh-faced 'new-comers' sitting at the front and interrupting my 'ramblings' to tell me about their new shoes, etc. The older children loved it and it so often lifted the mood of the day for us all. Little children should be seen and heard and we must listen and learn.
