  • cool story bro

  • its funny how some people discriminate others through religion. im a roman catholic and i respect all religions. people think its about the culture and the looks, like the jews, that makes up a life or a dignity of an individual. but its actually the belief that makes us into something.

  • @Bryleefy great comment for those who like to complain that a belief in Christ is mentioned since this video tosses in at the end that he is a follower of Christ (Mormon) and even though 99% of this shares personal experiences, I agree that it is the teachings of Christ that help make us who we are. I love people of all faiths as well and in fact that is what our faith teaches to love all unconditionally as Christ taught. Life should be about loving others and sending good energy to the universe

  • @Bryleefy How is this video discriminating other religions in any way? The purpose of this I'm a Mormon Campaign is to dispel rumors and show that mormons are simply every day people. In NO way does this put down any other religion :)

  • The Jesus of the Bible is not the Jesus of Mormonism (see 2 Corinthians 11:3-4). You can easily find the Biblical Jesus by reading John, Acts and Romans.

It's not about denomination--it's about Jesus.

  • @JoyUVLord If it's truly not about denomination but about Jesus then you clearly haven't done your research considering the actual name of the church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and YES it is the same Jesus, there was only one after all.

  • Hi, I'm looking to start promoting Mormonism at my school. Do you guys know where I can get some "I'm A Mormon" fridge magnets?

  • What a gun!

  • Why don't these people talk about the sorts of things we really want to know about... like how the church taught that Native Americans were an evil tribe from the middle east, when DNA proves that's not true. That sort of thing.

I'm not interested in his work or kids any more than he is about mine.

  • @paulinator61 you clearly do not know our beliefs and yet another reason for these spots. We actually believe native Americans are a blessed people, there is no claim they are from the middle east, only that two single families travelled to the Americas nearly 3000 years ago hardly a drop in the bucket to change the DNA of all people who already were living here. Don't be so quick to judge, if you actually were to meet him you'd find he actually did care, he is actually a good guy.

  • @Fhirinne The stance of the church was that the Lamanites were the PRINCIPAL ancestors of the american indians. If the general authorities were enlightened why would they deliberately mislead followers. Joseph Smith viewed the natives in the frontier as descendants of the Lamanites. If he fabricated then, where does that leave the church now? I was once mormon.

  • @anprapture actually native Americans have a very diverse history from several different continents originally, you have to figure in that people have been traversing, and trading, with other continents for centuries. In the Book of Mormon it mentions there were many people already here when the people in the book originally arrived. Their impact would have been marginal in respect to DNA even at the time but add upon that two thousand years of time that has passed.

  • @paulinator61 Because all they have is their delusions. If you attempt to ground them in logic and reason they cover their ears and sing la la la. It's like trying to teach an infant to stop sucking their thumb.

  • @anprapture I believe it only fair to state that it goes both ways if you are not willing to listen fairly and respectfully to others beliefs and your only intention is to mock and degrade them you are hardly the model of truth or integrity.

  • @paulinator61 Please...look for truth for yourself. It's not productive or rewarding to shoot down others' beliefs, especially when, as you seem to be, you are misinformed. These videos are obviously meant to inspire, not to solidify a truth to shove down anyone's throat. The truth is up to you to decide, not to be forced upon you, but you MUST take counsel from the right sources to know what that truth is. Don't be afraid to question, but don't be too proud to look for REAL answers.

  • @paulinator61 slightly skewed - we teach that people came from the middle east and settled in the americas mingling with the populations there. Over time just like in the bible some were good and some were bad till the gospel was removed all together because of iniquity and what remains were the people like the jews of the bible times who no longer had the true gospel. We also teach that in these last days these american tribes will blossom as the rose-isn't that what you wanted to know?

  • @paulinator61 hey hes not telling you hey i want you to be interested in my kids hes tryin to say hey im just like you i just have my own beliefs, wow how ignorant ppl can be very particularly you! a religion is a belief a faith and its a personal reflection on who you want to become and where you wanna go, let it be if this is what he wants, do you treat your nieghbor as if they dont exist?? no.. or i assume no.. your jsut ignorant to watch this and to come to the conclution you came out with

  • @paulinator61 why don't you talk about everything some total complete stranger wants you to when you share your own video with the world point being that we are each able to share and speak as we choose. I would also suggest you educate yourself about our actual beliefs before making such comments considering that we never taught native Americans 'were and evil tribe from the middle east'. You clearly have never read the Book of Mormon. You clearly are interested or you wouldn't be commenting.

  • @paulinator61 If you were genuinely interested in the true beliefs of the Mormons your head would not be so full of the typical lies that are spread by anti-Mormon activists. You are such a tool of Satan.

  • Mormon people are beautiful…Mormonism is not Biblical.

The “new gospel” of Mormonism teaches that God was once a man, that Jesus is our brother and that eternal life is achieved through our works.

The Bible say, “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned!”

  • @ckuhrasch we believe that as well you are preaching to the choir and if you actually knew our teachings you'd know that we do teach of nothing but Christ.

  • Rob is awesome!

  • he looks kind of like Robert Redford.

  • @omiolo2 you know it is funny but he does. And ironic considering that Robert Redford used to live in Manhattan. In fact, his wife when to church our our ward with my mother and yes she was a member of the church as well and they remained married for many years, part of the reason Robert or Bob as he sometimes is called moved to Sundance in Utah. He is a great guy as well always working for great causes.
