  • FUCKING BLASPHEMY.

  • this is stupid as shit, how does ford allow this? I'm actually pissed that you would do this to a mustang, much less a car you didn't even manufacture

  • how much just for the plug in motor system and will it drive over 70

  • Just I thought, wouldn't the vehicle be able to reach a higher top speed with a multi-gear transmission instead of a direct drive?

  • This guy, managed to take every inch of muscle out of this mustang, I have no idea how anyone could think that this is cool. Oh well, at the very least, he converted a v6.

  • Kurt Neutgens if you got eggs build a E-Car without Cable

    That means No Range limit

I Bet next Day the Oilcompanie will Knock on youre door and smile

E-Cars with fix Batteries are usles

    Throw it away

  • Direct drive in a Ford Mustang doesn't sound good despite the 5.6sec 0-60 time. How about at least a two or three-speed manual? Not everyone wants an automatic regardless of what the car is powered by.

And curiously the standard 2005 V6 rims were left on the car-- not very sporting. Did this car have an LSD rear end? That electric motor puts out a lot of instant torque. It just seems as if a GT with a manual transmission would have been a better chassis to start with.

  • They made electric powered mustangs starting in 1965 that would only carry one adult. They were called Mustang Juniors and made by the Powercar company of Mystic CT to be used by dealerships in promotions. They also made a gas powered version along with the electric version in 1965 66 and 67. Search for Mustang Juniors to learn more

  • Buy a classic people for 600 bucks then convert it yourself its not that hard xD

  • The batteries location is stupid....what about people in cold climates that salt the roads?

"lets gets the batteries as close to the ground and grime as possible".... great idea!!!!

  • i don't know if it is 100% true or not but i have heard that electric cars are worse for the enviroment then regular cars

  • The Plug-In Panther, huh

  • It's nice to know that people in IL. don't need to go all the way to San Dimas, CA. to get their car converted to all electric as KC is much closer.

Your choice of vehicles is awesome...

I've thought about converting a Town Car because it has enough room for batteries for a longer range... Good luck with your conversion of that model, and good luck with business.

  • An electric Mustang does not have to have stickers on the side of its car. It looks bad for the electric car. And for a Mustang.

  • Misguided comment on my part so i removed it, i didn't understand the tax credit situation and i apolagize to your company for talking about the prices when i didn't understand the entire situation. Good luck with your company and i hope that more states will offer tax credits in the future so that this technology can be available to everyone. This is the coolest electric car i have seen yet and i am glad you are spending time on helping with renewable energy sources and mustang enthusiasts.

Please listen to the news report, which was done over a year ago. I said that with tax credits which were at 75% at the time in Colorado, the final costs could be as low as $11k. It was not a bait an switch, it was true. It's over now, and I should probably change my website, I apologize for the misunderstanding.

  • GREAT WORK! man that is a slick conversion, I love how clean it all looks, very professional! check out my videos I build electric motorcycles and race them around the USA.

keep up the good work! -Tony

  • Zero maintenance? What about the brake pads? Shocks? Its nice to see they are finally relying on electric now. Lets just hope when the sales people explain to the consumer about PiP, they don't mistaken it with Picture in Picture LOL

  • how much electricity does it take to charge it? i just wanna know what the electric bill would look like?

  • cheaper then your gas bill obviously

  • Not sure, and what I think is funny is people give me negative rates.... I wonder if they even know what Picture in Picture even means xD

  • @NotMLG

    - The electricity to charge 200 miles is about 60 kW. At $0.07 / kW (residential cost) that's about $0.42 or about $.021/mile. Gasoline is about $2.80 for 20 miles or about $0.14/mile. that's about 15%.- We called it Panther because the vehicle is very quiet and has a lot of agility. Pegasus is a neat name too!

  • @KurtNeutgens It's awesome! I love it!

  • @KurtNeutgens Awesome, I like it! The only thing I don't care for is the name, the original Camaro's name was to be Panther, but they changed it to Camaro. I would use a name that is associated with electricity... Hope to see more EV- Electric Vehicles in the future.

  • @NotMLG

About 5 cents per charge, with each charge getting you a 200 mile Range.

  • @Restaurant25

Thought we would respond to the questions...

    - Brake Pads: There is actually very little wear to the brake pads because of the regenerative braking. Our Regen is controlled on the accelerator pedal, and this will bring the vehicle to a very quick stop all the way from 90mph. So actually, we don't expect any brake pad replacement in 500,000 miles.

  • @Restaurant25 - Shocks: I agree that these will need to be replaced at 150,000 miles, but I guess I don't really consider that maintenance. And the truth is that many people who drive vehicles to 300,000 miles don't replace their shocks. We were thinking of oil changes, coolant changes, filters, brake pads etc.

  • @Restaurant25 Dude! No break pads! Regenerative breaking! As for shocks....thats apparently just magic...

  • @Restaurant25 You don't have to replace the brake pads as often because the motor is A/C. You can use the motor to slow you down.

  • why "Panther"? how about the "Pegasus" : Mustang on Wings.

  • Good to see automobile options opening up. I guess it takes high gas prices and environmental degradation to prompt change. Too bad that's what it takes, but glad the revolution has begun.

  • is it expensive?

what i have in mind is that when a person can afford a ford mustand, then i am sure he has enough money to buy gas.

this engine should be for pore people, and should be in first place available for old car models like ford escort, opel vectra etc.

  • @jacek533

    - The prices will come down with volume, but even at our current price of $75,000, this vehicle pays back in fuel and maintenance savings. While this is not cheap, it does provide some benefits like zero emissions, no handling of gasoline with is shown to cause cancer, no oil imports from unfriendly foreign countries, etc.

  • Kurt: I hope you know that it is impossible to recover a $75k conversion cost over any period under 20 years. $75k is over 425,000 miles of gasoline at $3.50 per gallon in a car that gets 20 miles per gallon. In your Mustang at today's prices and EPA mileage, it's over a half million miles! Also, the likelihood you can do that with no service or repair to the AC Propulsion system or Chinese LiFePO4 batteries you are using is extremely remote. Why make this claim? Its totally bogus.

  • @KurtNeutgens No offense but 75K for a Stripped v6 mustang with an electric motor is insane.. If you were going to spend that you should just spend the extra money and get the Tesla.. which is faster, goes further, and is an exotic car..

  • very nice, just let me know when you have electric camaro's.

  • Scorchin!
