I think that all stinger bow are the same, but only differences between them is the small pin on the limb pocket holder. This pin is present only on 50# and 60# version. So if you cut out this pin you will have full strenght of your bow!? What you think!?
Too many people are conserned about the draw weight. Go sit up in your stand for a couple days in the freezing cold and see if you can pull off actually shooting a deer with it at high poundage. The fact of the matter is, someone next to you set at 55lbs who draws it back smooth will get that deer while your shaking and unable to focus. Im 6'2", 190lbs, and very fit. Yes I can pull back a 75lb with ease but whats the point. If you want a weight competition go to the gym.
OK man it looks like your doing pretty good for your first times. although you would do alot better with a stabilizer and be sure not to grip on your grip just let it set in your hand! you'll find that will make you a great archer.
try and get a stabilizer. It will help from wobbling around. I have one on ebay that would be perfect. Or get one at a local outdoors store. Hope ya have fun with your new bow.
great job and video. i have the same bow and its also my first i like quite a bit. ive spent days practicing for deer season and im shooting bout the same groups.
Just a tip when shooting. You want to loosen your grip on the bow. You want to basically stick your fingers straight out when you draw to make sure that the bow is just sort of resting on your palm and then you can lightly rest your fingers on the front of the grip. The less grip you have on the bow the less movement there will be and the less possibility for tourque or twisting upon release which would end up in poor acuracy or even missing the target.
same here my first bow.shot it a few times at 10yds tuning maybe 50 shoots next day then tuning 30and 40yrs maybe 30 shoots. got in the blind felt good about it.got a 15 ld turkey he never took a step.love that bow i have nothing to compare it to really. had a good dinner dbl dip in egg w/ some flour and a light dusting of garlic breast strips.thanks to the stinger.
I have the 50 pound stinger. To me it is quite loud. They say that the backstop is supposed to reduce noise. I think it works a tiny bit, but it is a bit faster than if you don't have it.
nice shooting Tex,,, i got friends who cant shoot a rifle that straight, heh after years , its a good bow and you will get better,, just a tip though,,, so as you dont wreck your noks, and fletches try shooting each target separate/ just a thought with your groups getting so tight,
This guys voice sounds like somebody famous and I can't figure out who it is...I've watched this damn video the past 3 days trying to figure it out.....can anyone help me out here?????
Thanks for sharing. I was looking at this bow at Cabelas for $300. I'm more a gun guy, but with ammo prices what they are and my favorite range having closed, I'm thinking of taking up archery. Haven't done it since briefly in Boy Scouts (or even Cub Scouts) which is getting on 20 years ago. But I remember liking it. I'm not a hunter, so $300 is about the highest I'd want to spend.
Thank you. Also remember before buying new that there are nice deals to be had from people on craigs list. My son bought a nice one for half what I paid.
I'm into guns also, (I'm open carrying on the video, but it's hard to see) but like you said with prices of ammo, archery has been a fun alternative.
and a maxed out bow in your case 60 pounds is more accurate then a 70 pound bow backed down to 60. And to those kids that were saying about pulling high poundage bowhunting isnt about how much you can pull its about accuracy.
What the hell do you need 82 pounds or 70 pounds for? i doubt you can pull back 82 pounds backyardhunter99. they dont even make bows that much poundage unless you special order limbs that way. In ohio you at least need 40 pounds for 60 pounds is dam good enough to kill a deer. i shoot 60 pounds and im sure i could pull 70 or 75 but i dont need to. 60 is alot more comfortable when pulling from a treestand and when its cold. and great shooting rottman!!
lmao i am only 14 and im maxed out at 60 lbs on my diamond razor edge..!! my dad has that bow and i cna pul it back at 70 lbs!! u sersly might want to crank it up alil bit
great shooting, pse makes great bows, I own one myself PSE Diamondback and it shoots great, just bought myself a Mathews Monster and just cant wait to receive it...
I just got one last month, been shooting it with very tight groups at 20 yards no problem (& tree stand practice too)... Haven't set a 30 yard pin yet...
Been bow hunting since 1992 with an Onieda bow, now my backup. I love the PSE Stinger, & am looking forward to this years deer season.
Got mine at Cabelas (in person), they did an awesome job setting up the bow for me, & cutting arrows to my length.
Thank you for posting this, I've been thinking about getting into bow target shooting and maybe hunting. I've never own a bow. I've been thinking about this or the X-FORCE SS. For the price, this bow is looking quite nice.
had my stinger since jan. 09. no problems. i am shooting 40 yards with broadheads and getting a four inch grouping. works great with the easton tracer nocks. and speed isnot everything. a fifty pound draw weight will kill a deer as good as a seventy. its all about practice
how many rotation did you turn your limb bolt out?

Im looking to get me one of these and im just starting bow hunting. But my question is, is if i got the pse 60lb, does it adjust down to 50lb?
Ducanasty 1 year ago
@Ducanasty Yes Compound bows can wind down 10pounds from their maximum draw weight.
JerrimMarshall 1 year ago
@JerrimMarshall this bow has a 30 pound draw weight adjustment

Thanks for the feedback. I have been very satisfied with it.
I'm not a hunter, but my son took it on his first deer hunt and brought back a pretty big deer last winter.
Personally for all I intend to do, the 60 lb is fine.

and also you should try getting a sling on that so u can loosen your arm up more.
it'll help accuracy and straiten up the flight of your arrows

its not right to say weather someone should pull back more poundage just becuz someone younger can pull higher...
just becuz u can pull back that high of poundage doesn't meen crap... its all what your comfortable with! so shut your mouth little kids

Nice shots. Ive been thinking about getting a stinger and after watching this I just might get it.
You might want to try to relax your left hand to reduce torque. Try that and you'll be shooting like a pro
