@Jakejw93 Let me know if you get AA working... To be honest that is the only way I can play 3D games without getting terribly sea sick or having to look away from the ugly jagged edges every 5 minutes.
@otoris i tried fullscreen and AA again, fullscreen runs a lot better but seemed to have a jerk every 30 seconds or something, AA does not work at all annoyingly enough :/
@Jakejw93 Thanks for saving me the time of downloading and installing Portal 2 via wine! Wine just simply isn't an option for newer 3D games. :( Actually most games with AA. I just wish you could tell Portal 2 to run under OpenGL mode like on Mac.
@fighterpiolt1992 if your ever watching my videos and you think 'how do I install it' there tends to be a description about what I did....since this was through steam it was easy and just installed through steam.....
I have successfully installed it on my ubuntu as well.However it work much slower than on windows, furthermore , some levels have some yellow wall glitch. Am I the only one faced this problems?
the majority of reasons why a game does not work and its supposed too has alot to do with what is installed,sometimes even if you miss the littlest thing the game will not work,i found that out real quick...winetricks is your friend :) without that jeeez im not even sure how much gaming we would get
are you running it fullscreen? how do you apply the patch?

@Jakejw93 No I mean the portal gun lights up when you shoot a blue or orange but it stayed black as if you shot no portals!

I've played Portal 2 from start to finish on ArchLinux. Not a single crash , very smooth, very good experience overall for a great game !

No anti-aliasing or fullscreen? How is Co-op or the Robot Enrichment Store? And why is your cursor all blue instead of blue/orange?

@otoris not sure if i had AA on, and fullscreen had mouse problems + i only just got the portal gun with just the blue portal fire ability
