  • I love riding this track. :D

  • @BeneathTheSmiles - it's always good

  • hey mate good on ya. I would love to try that one. How long is this track? and where do you start in the Blue Mountains?

  • @333mazer - Length depends on where you start - 36 km return to station, 20 km return from locked gate. I usually start from Katoomba railway station, but if you drive, you start from Glen Raphael Drive (which turns off Cliff Drive). There are a few spots in Glen Raphael Drive where you can park before the gate, which is about 3 kms after the turn off. I have a written review at my web site - whack a dot com after thefathippy.

  • hayy man how do ya get the head cam 2 stay so steady we used 1 the other day & it was all over the place ???

  • @asherm49 - When I'm using a helmet cam, I use a GoPro camera with their helmet mount, which has straps that go through the vents. I tighten the straps as much as I can, and I keep my helmet pretty tight. I also try and mount the cam in the middle of my helmet, so it doesn't want to fall forwards or back under its own weight. On some videos I use a stabilising filter in my editing software. BUT...

In this particular video, I'm using a GoPro chest harness, done up tight. No helmet cam.

  • hey mate, me and my mates did this track about a month ago on BMX bikes and it was the hardest thing we have done in our lives! it is an excelent track for scenery and next time i will do it again but on a MTB. how long did it take you to complete the track? it took us 5hours return, and the return was almost impossible to ride.

  • @jackshittttttttttttt - hehe - BMX bikes? You blokes are hard. I have enough trouble with 27 gears. I reckon it takes about 2.5 -3 hours riding time (station to end and back), but I stop to enjoy the views and to breathe a bit, so actual time is longer
