  • Lady look at the pattern the vamp is going from young to old

  • OM.............FFFFFFFFFFFF! Can't believe it's nearley enddddddddddddd buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!

  • wat exactly is ova?ok never mind

  • @Foxfang27 OVA stands for original video animation. It's released straight to video or DVD without airing on TV. At least, that's what I think it is.

  • wat exactly is ova?

  • you know i think that if the person who made hell girl conspired with the creator of miyu

    they could remake this greatly

    the ova is good

    but i prefer the manga

  • This is quite possibly my favourite OVA series of all time. The pacing and direction are superb, and it's beautifully sad. Also, Larvah is one of the most awesome 'guardian' characters of all time.

  • wait so then which one r u posed to watch first?tv or ova?

  • This was the first anime I saw, I've seen so many but this one I'll never forget. It is the all time best to me!

  • I own all three of the OVA DVDS!! x3

I love this version of Miyu, but the dub version is kinda meh.. lol

My favorite voice of Miyu is her fist dub voice from the TV series.

I'd have to say that this, and the 2nd episode are the two I love the most~ :3

  • @YukariKanashii88 Yeah i pretty much agree.I am use to her First Dub from the Show,Miyu sounds like a Child in the OVA.but when i first heard about this Anime

It got be abit Confuse on her Parents in both ova and tv series

OVA = Child of a Human Father and a Vampire Mother

TV = Child of a Human mother and a father shinma guardian

  • @Mikezilla103 There's two sides of Miyu. In the OVA she is more playful and childish, and she doesn't really show any sympathy for humans. The second version of Miyu in the TV series isn't playful, likes humans, and is very mature, so much that it separates her from everyone else except for Larva and Shiina.

  • @Mikezilla103 The reason for the changes is that the OVA came first in the 1980's. (That's when the manga was gaining popularity.) It was sort of tested as a pilot to see how well it would do. (Since it was well-recieved they made changes and came up with the TV series) The TV series was made in the mid 1990's. Naturally the history of Miyu changed but that was probably to give her a new story rather then repeat the first one. :3

  • @YukariKanashii88 odd i have all four episodes of the ova on 1 dvd

  • @MegaDjmatt That's weird. XD But lucky you. ^^

  • @YukariKanashii88 I also own the soundtrack to the ova and the tv series. i can help you get them if you like

  • @MegaDjmatt That's so nice of you. :) I used to own the OST of the TV series but lost it a while ago, so that'd be awesome to have it again. ^^

  • is it just me or did this version of Miyu left off on a Cliff Hanger?

  • @MegaDjmatt Oh definitely, but this was just a test run of the show to see how it'd do. I doubt that there was much sales so they had to leave it off like this, sadly. :/

  • @YukariKanashii88 don't you mean four? there's four ova's

  • @NintendoGeek007 actually I mean two haha. I have two dvds with 2 episodes on each disk. xD
