Doom 3 Sikkmod Vid 2

I made this mod to work, but graphics is horrible. What settings have you made? All on?

If I make hdr on whole screen goes white! Help!

@BGFGR If your using ATI it says to turn off the smart ai, otherwise fiddle with the settings in the menu to see if it reduces anything.

smart ai is in the ati control panel if you didn't know already.

Does this work for the Steam Version? I have the Steam Version. I have been trying all day trying to get it to work for the steam version...

@Masterlink981 yes... if you have an ATI card turn off the ATI smart AI for it to work.. also make sure you read the read me and comments from the download site for any other info

do you have a ATI Randeon Video card? if so go into the settings panel for it.. right click the desktop and choose ati catalyst control centre, should be the first item in the list.. will of changed with driver version to other names..

then when in that go to 3D settings nad look for 'Catalyst AI' and make sure disable catalyst ai is chosen..

if that doesn't help then I can't help sorry

@paperbea No sir... I have googled it. It gave me nothing really. A bit TOO complicated.... I also made backup files. I don't have Steam Apps in my OS: C/ folder... Just the backup files...

open the zip with the mod in... go to your doom 3 folder... you see the folder called base? good your in the right folder...

make a new folder called Sikkmod put ALL the files from the zip into taht folder, keeping all folders and files in place ie just drag it from the zip to the folder.

run doom3 use the mod menu.. done..

@paperbea I did everything you said to apply sikkmodd v.1.1 from the mod menu in doom3 and was succesful. So i can now select sikkmodd v.1.1 from mod option in Doom 3, only when i select it the game close and return to desktop and after 3 seconds, the game relauched with 2 vertical black slides beside my resolution like before. So what i have to do to put sikkmodd v.1.1 on and keep it to go to full resolution. thx

i would like to play with sikkmod on and max resolution. (resolution 1050 X 1680

@sungmachine Unfortunatly I don't think I know how to fix that, but have you tried using diffrent screen resolutions?

@paperbea No because i bought the game on steam and have an ati video card.In the game files i change the settings from DoomConfig file with the bloc notes:

seta r_customHeight "1050"  but when i launch the game with no sikkmodd v.1.1 on, the game goes to my resolution screen but when i put on sikkmod, the game quits on desktop and relauch with 2 vertical bars but this time sikkmodd v.1.1 is activated. Do you know what command line to use to repair

@paperbea Ok so if i understand well....when you put on sikkmodd v.1.1 the commands lines of game folder(doomconfig) change? And if this command line is not there(use "r_mode -1)...i have to put it in to work?

@sungmachine r_mode -1 should already be in doomconfig i think.. use notepads find function and change it, you should also be able to change it in game in the console but you would have to restart with "vid_restart" i think to reload the engine.
