it works but when i drive, the whole wheel on my car turns black, except the tires but still, the dish turns black. do u know why this is? go to forzamotorsport . net and search for DriftForce015, u should see my photo of my s14. i will post one that shows how my rims turn black.

On the mickey thompson Classic lock, the bolts around the outside will change. on the Konig Britelite, the lugnuts will change. The Weld racing AlumaStar 2.0 will change lugnut color. There are plenty of others that have minute changes like these, just look close

I'm not really sure if they did. My chrome lips still appear in the menu/photo/view modes but during racing/game cameras the whole wheel goes black and you can't see the chrome lip. I'm not sure what has changed if anything but mabye someone else knows whats up.

wheel choice in forza 3 is pretty disappoitning. almost all of the Volk/Rays selections are gone from Forza 2. Motegi no longer has the Touge, and a lot of popular choices are missing from other companies ie Volk VS-XX

Nice one, but not sure if you know this already it only works at one or two angles while you watch the replay. You lose the chrome lip different camera angles. so this works best when the car is still and not moving.

I'm currently having a problem where the Tenzo chrome lip rims appear on the car fine in the main menu/other menus and in photo mode but when i'm racing the whole rim just seems black.

The entire rim turns the color you painted it when the wheel is in motion. when it is still the chrome lip appears.

hey jube, there are quite a few more than four that work this way. they don't all end up with the centers painted. take the mickey thompsons for example. the second set of mickeys will end up with colored accents. experiment with all of them. you'll have to look close sometimes, but the effect should stand out in photo if you use a bold enough color.

You can paint the lip and the hub on the Zender Turbo II's as well.

Instead of Turn 10 patching this bug, I hope they find out what causes it then exploit that to enable us to paint all sections of three piece rims individually for instance.

Only downside I have seen on this is the wheel is the full red colour in races due to the lower LOD model, if you go into photo mode in a race, it'll show the chrome rims again, in the race however, you'd have the chromes design with red rims, still, perfect for photos, thanks matey :)
