hey man, ive recently added a new sensor board, and replaced the rotor and x2 bearing in the motor, she realy runs sweet, smooth and fast, this losi is defo a good truck.

shes been realy strong, and reliable since building her.

Hey 1521joe , I'm thinking of converting my new Losi 8ight-T 2.0 into a electric version . I know I want the Tekin 2250Kv and the Rx8 ESC but what size spur gear and pinion gear should I use with that size Motor and ESC

thats a great choice of motor&esc

ok, follow my simple instructions without deviating and you will have a setup thats super fast and reliable

1) buy the Genuine losi conversion kit, the components are a perfect fit and you get a steel spur gear with the kit already thrown in 45t

2) get a 16t pinion.

Your gearing will be 45/16, a perfect blend of super strong acceleration with 50mph top speed on 4s, on 5s your top speed will be around 63mph

your motor/esc will remain cool

thanks for your question.

there a several chassis & motor, esc combos.

The tekin 2250kv motor and rx8 esc is the most reliable combo on the market.

Pro racers who have used all the diffrent motors&esc always say the tekin combo is smooth, powerful, and very reliable, castle motors are also good, but the castle mamba esc,sucks on reliability.

Good chassis are the losi 2.0t, the rc8t, mugen seiki mbx6, xray xt8, tamiya trf801xt
