I am an anti-theist but not anti-human am not saying that Religion can't stop someone from quiting drugs. In fact it seems very effective of doing that. However the best way to stop doing one drug is to start a different one, whatever it may be. This is what religion is. It's is a drug that pleases the mind through careful stimulation of fear, and hope, so that one day the addict may become putty in the hand of thier pusher. Just take a closer objective look of your enviroment.
Religion is the "wonder drug" that makes you see the truth of the world, and makes you realize your life comes and goes as quickly as vapor, and that maybe God has a plan to help you out. I garantee you that all these types of bands, from Korn to Lamb of God, have heard about Jesus, no what the punishment is, but yet ignore it. Why is it when people can't understand something bigger than themselves they turn to attacking someone who does get it. The Lord is as real as the ground you walk on and he loves us all and has given Head a new beginning with his daughter and his life. We should just praise God for still loving us! I hate that God has to see so much of this world spit in his face.

I am glad he is doing something better for his life too. However is still doesn't justify the fact that the God Concept is based in fantasy, that will come to haunt him and those around him, later. I am a little different than some Atheist. When I read the bible I find that it is written in a hippocratic format for a reason, and that reason is the fact that you can use the bible to logically make up any scenario (good or bad) as a richeous pursuit.

I am an anti-theist but not anti-human am not saying that Religion can't stop someone from quiting drugs. In fact it seems very effective of doing that. However the best way to stop doing one drug is to start a different one, whatever it may be. This is what religion is. It's is a drug that pleases the mind through careful stimulation of fear, and hope, so that one day the addict may become putty in the hand of thier pusher. Just take a closer objective look of your enviroment.

Religion is the "wonder drug" that makes you see the truth of the world, and makes you realize your life comes and goes as quickly as vapor, and that maybe God has a plan to help you out. I garantee you that all these types of bands, from Korn to Lamb of God, have heard about Jesus, no what the punishment is, but yet ignore it. Head sees it and changed his life, not just for him, but for his daughter. Its not about fear of punishment, its about knowing and loving the truth Jesus talks about.

Like I said, I am glad he quit drugs but he should grow up a little more and take responsibility for his actions. It might be in his best interest to analyze why he did drugs, instead of just blaming it on the devil, so he can accurately instruct his daughter on what to avoid in the near future.

The fact you didn't realize that is beyond me, yet you can critisize how i spell the word guarantee? The reason why alot of people start doing drugs is a VAST discussion. Korn isn't an anti-christ band :/ if that's true then every band is anti-christ because korn's lyrical content deals with life mostly and the darker side of it. Head never blamed the drug addiction on the band, it was his problem personally, and I'm glad he is better now. Head even said that it's a possibility that he might even go back to korn, he just isn't ready right now. He just wants to spend time with his daughter.

to reply to you, ziggy, head left korn in 2005, prior to the release of See You On The Other Side, after becoming a born again Christian. his new religious views weren't exactly "in sync" with the rest of the band, so he left. Head and the rest of korn are on good terms now. (Don't get your hopes up, but I've heard a rumor that Head might be playing guitar in a song on Korn's next album.)

The only reason Head needed "God/Jesus" in his life is cuz he just needed an anchor in his life. He had no real ideal to believe in, lost his purpose in life, and found that drugs can't fully satiate man's spiritual needs. So he just looked toward the closest and most simplest things that can make man's life seem so much more simpler and wonderful: Superstitions, and doctrines of ancient unenlightened desert people.

If you believe atheism is the answer then you are wrong. Under atheism life has no meaning. There is no purpose to live. No purpose to believe in or do anything. I'd love to imagine that a dimension filled of fiery infernos awaits those who have done so much wrong in our world, but what happens after death and what we wish for it has no meaning in our world. Death is basically an individual's eventual demise, nothing more. I don't believe in a divine purpose, so what? I make my own choices, and hold onto both the gifts and regrets that life and my choices may grant me.

There are people out there who abuse the power of conscience and choice to cause pain and suffering to others, and we need to prevent them from doing such things. It's not like religion can do any better. Many fanatics and spiritual "leaders" abused their own powers and influence to lead the masses to do evil things, or for selfish personal gain.
