Can you please let me know how you managed to remove the db killer from the inside of the exhaust? There is some sort of clip that holds the db killer in place, I managed to get that off but I tried to pull out the db killer without any success. There is some sort of movement clockwise and anti-clockwise but that's just it. Can you help?
@mrmitch365 I got it off eBay, try a search. It might be worth noting that I've since put the standard can back on as it was taking at least 5mph off the top speed. Could probably get the power back by re jetting the carb but I can't be bothered. I've also got bored of the obscene loudness.
@FrontSideBus Thanks, another question ^^ How big is this bike? i am about 6.2(1.90) tall and 100kg. Would I be able to ride this big without having like alot of discomfort?
@Drbadass90 Well I'm 5ft9in and about 75killos. It is more comfortable then the Honda CB500 that I done my Direct Access on, but my arse and knees do get sore on extended rides of more then a few hours. I recently did a trip of 400 miles in a day but I was stopping for a breather every so often. Hope this helps.
I have ridden it a few times without the baffle in and it is VERY loud. Definitely not legal as without the DB killer in, it's essentially a straight-through system. Even with it in the sound is massively improved, I have a hard time telling people it's only a 125.
I've not noticed any increase in power but the engine does seem to rev more freely. As you said there is no power below 5,000rpm so I normally keep the engine spinning at or above that mark.
The DB killer is held in place by a single circlip and needed quite a tug to remove it the first couple of times but comes out easy now.
The circlip is a bit tricky to remove with a pair of long-nose pliers but easy with a proper circlip removal tool. They are available quite cheaply though.

Is it legal to have two persons at this bike at the same time? Don't know if that is a totally retarded question but I don't know : (

Is it difficult to remove the DB Killer, or is it just one screw?
I've got a Derbi Mulhacen Café, and I like the standart sound, but i think GPR would be mouch better^^
