This guy definitely has no clue about what a Jeep is made for. Nope, it don't ride like a $80,000 luxury car its not supposed. Yes, drive it to the beach, drive it on the beach its made for that. Drive it to and from work every day yep it will do that too. Its a Jeep, and the only changes that need to be made are to bring back the 4.0L I6. Also, the power windows, power locks, remote keyless entry, that's starting to get away from what a jeep wrangler is supposed to be.

lol actually its really easy to tell the difference from the new to the old jeeps without being a total jeep nerd, like the more rounded plastic front grill, much larger wheel wells, a lot wider flares, the doors arent as rounded they have more "corners" on them, it sits a little higher, its substantially wider, all that stuff. you dont have to be a nerd to see that

This guy is crazy. I own a JK X 2007. It is NOT AS loud as he says. You can have a conversation easily in this vehicle at high way speeds. But don't get me wrong - it IS a soft top and it IS a Jeep so it's not quiet. This guy looks like he would drive a sunfire and be proud, that's what he needs to stick with.

This guy just flat out isn't a Jeep guy. I take mine on frequent road trips & have no complaints about the road "feel." Jeep's quadra-coil suspension is second to none. my ONLY complaint: they should have stayed with the tried & true 4.0. still, the 3.8 V6 is adequate.
NOTHING compares even closely to it's off-road capabilities, and I only have the Sahara model. if you snag a Ruby, your unstopable on the trails! PERIOD!!!
This guy is nuts. I have a pure 83 CJ as well as my 07 rubicon unlimited. I dorve the rubicon from Tallahassee to Key west and loved it. I also take it into the national forest stock and ride on the trails . little under hoursed for the highway but plenty of toque I would not trade it for anything just waiting to build it up and take it out.
Can we please get past the 80's and move into the modern era. You can get out in the mud to lock in your hubs if you want...but I like my on the fly 4x4. Further more...I think the power window package is bad ass. I like the off road capabilities with the "today's" luxouries. Ya ll need to move on past the CJ's and get with the times. Its still as rugged. Now its also comfortable. Sheesh!!!

alright bro. here is some real info. This is one of the only SUVs still being made with a solid front axle. Also one of the cheapest vehicle you can get with a solid front axle.(IFS sucks) This Jeep also has lockers in low 4wd gears. Can you name another vehicle with built in lockers? You can also get it equipped with 32 inch mud terrains. normal SUVs cannot fit 32s. This is the best modern platform for off road use. period. quit your moaning nancy and let a real man drive.

I drove the 2 door for about a week and hated it! of course, it was a rental so it probably wasn't all that great. Soft top wasn't closed right so it was VERY noisey even going about 30MPH. I'd rather get the four door. This one just gave me a headache.

I rented a 4 door when I went to Atlanta a several months ago and it rides about as well as my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the noise is only marginally louder than that, I had the hard top. This guy has no clue. I am getting ready to replace my 99 with a 4 door JK. This guy should have at least driven out of Chicago to do the test and not on some vacant lot. What a tool.

- Uncomfortable road tripper is a opinion - I have a 2010 Rubicon and I've driven from Maine to Florida with no problems at all!
- I cruise at 85 MPH with no problems! The V6 is fine!
- The ride and handling NEVER gets "jittery"!

This guy is crazy. I own a JK X 2007. It is NOT AS loud as he says. You can have a conversation easily in this vehicle at high way speeds. But don't get me wrong - it IS a soft top and it IS a Jeep so it's not quiet. This guy looks like he would drive a sunfire and be proud, that's what he needs to stick with.

not really- the old ones were, but the new ones aren't. That transfer case he talks about produces a lot of problems, and I have a cousin who's wrangler is in the shop right now for transmission work- only 30000 miles of highway driving on it, and tranny work? yea. wranglers are not what they are cracked up to be

This guy just flat out isn't a Jeep guy. I take mine on frequent road trips & have no complaints about the road "feel." Jeep's quadra-coil suspension is second to none. my ONLY complaint: they should have stayed with the tried & true 4.0. still, the 3.8 V6 is adequate.
NOTHING compares even closely to it's off-road capabilities, and I only have the Sahara model. if you snag a Ruby, your unstopable on the trails! PERIOD!!!

This guy is nuts. I have a pure 83 CJ as well as my 07 rubicon unlimited. I dorve the rubicon from Tallahassee to Key west and loved it. I also take it into the national forest stock and ride on the trails . little under hoursed for the highway but plenty of toque I would not trade it for anything just waiting to build it up and take it out.

Can we please get past the 80's and move into the modern era. You can get out in the mud to lock in your hubs if you want...but I like my on the fly 4x4. Further more...I think the power window package is bad ass. I like the off road capabilities with the "today's" luxouries. Ya ll need to move on past the CJ's and get with the times. Its still as rugged. Now its also comfortable. Sheesh!!!

i like the gps system but the power windows? come on a jeep is suppose to be rugged...i had a 99 tj only thing i didn't like was it was an automatic i bought it off my cousin he was a pussy lol...as soon as i bought it i put a 2 inch lift and 31x11.50 LTB's on it and it saw more trail action than pavement hell i'd skipped school to go wheeling...it had heat and a radio that's all you need if you really want a jeep

alright bro. here is some real info. This is one of the only SUVs still being made with a solid front axle. Also one of the cheapest vehicle you can get with a solid front axle.(IFS sucks) This Jeep also has lockers in low 4wd gears. Can you name another vehicle with built in lockers? You can also get it equipped with 32 inch mud terrains. normal SUVs cannot fit 32s. This is the best modern platform for off road use. period. quit your moaning nancy and let a real man drive.

this guy is just an amature, i have a 98 TJ and its got a 6 inch lift and 35 inch tires and it drives fine at 65-70 mph, im not saying you can cruise it like luxury car but its good enough for me and all of us jeepers, ive even had mine up ti 95 mph, with out much trouble at all, and one thing about jeeps this guy does not understand it that they are suposed to be loud and have road noise and be bumpy, thats what makes them fun, its easily the fun thing you'll ever drive for on and off road.

I drove the 2 door for about a week and hated it! of course, it was a rental so it probably wasn't all that great. Soft top wasn't closed right so it was VERY noisey even going about 30MPH. I'd rather get the four door. This one just gave me a headache.

I rented a 4 door when I went to Atlanta a several months ago and it rides about as well as my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the noise is only marginally louder than that, I had the hard top. This guy has no clue. I am getting ready to replace my 99 with a 4 door JK. This guy should have at least driven out of Chicago to do the test and not on some vacant lot. What a tool.
