They're mounted drives, they're pretty there to trick your computer into believing you actually have an extra DVD drive so you can run downloaded ISO's.

Its pretty much like running a virtual disc in a virtual DVD drive.

ok people that dont have folders and get corrupted data. You NEED custom firmware, it is not possible to use mods without it. you will need to buy a pandora battery and create a magic memory stick by yourself. psp 1000 (phat) & 2000 (slim) users this emu will definately work but i am not sure about psp 3000. If you have original firmware 5.51 already then you will have to wait for the next cfw update to be released, may take several months. google codejunkies(dot)com for pandora battery =)

You can use ChickHen R2 mode for psp 3000. You don't need pandora battery or magic memory stick to have it. When you have it, you can run homebrew (home made games like emulators or doom for psp and etc.) but you will not be able to play iso/cso games. Just type in youtube search How to install ChickHen R2 on psp 3000.
