Guy playing in freezing weather in a silky hippy suit... at 2:30 am... in a pitch black field... on acid.. Want specifics? His Isle of Wight performance on Red House. For some it's hard to watch, but for me, I find that Hendrix's beauty lay in playing regardless. We will never have what he had. We only have what we can make.

his tongue is essentially doing nothing.. If it was actually tounching the string that was ringing, it likely wouldnt be making a sound anymore. Neat trick tho ;)
@arex82 actually his fernandes sustainer is making the string vibrate non stop so he uses his tongue to stop it then lifts his tongue up as he uses to the whammy to up the pitch, its an illusion

during complete improvisation, yes, you are going to be a bit sloppy... It's just natural, but you can take that sloppiness and turn into music, into your style... But still I don't call it being sloppy, I call it music... but yeah he is sloppy while on LSD... but still he can play...
