That was stupid that the company did not listen to the 911 people. They are gonna pay for that now!!! I so wanted to go up there when we heard it was like 1 hour after my cousin left every which way was blocked to get to this street.
@queenmurderr Within the first 5 minutes, no one was sure what was in the tanker cars -or comprehend the tanks could bleve explode - again, they had already exploded once!
@geeps08 duh, yeah! This footage was shot within the first few minutes after the explosion - what this video shows is the witnesses first reactions to what we saw, heard and felt. No one reallized it could explode "again", until the cops came yelling to evacuate! And then we left rapidly . . .
yeah there was tons of rain and couple days after this the tracks that you saw with them videotaping on alpine was still flooded i still can't believe we did not hear this around the time you video taped my cousin was going home.
good job on video i heard CN is gonna cover any i guess hotel stays for people that evacuated now who's at fault for the derailment is still being discussed CN says its UP's fault I blame the 911 operator for not contacting railroad after the calls saying the tracks were washed out I smell lawsuit
That was a freaky night!

cool video, this is like 2-3 blocks from where one of my friends lives. He said that he could see it from his bedroom window.
