I was sitting 3rd row center this night. While it's nice to have this to remember the moment, it's not in the same universe with how truly special Phoebe sounded and the great vibe she lent to the evening. She was without doubt the hightlight, and actually, without her, this was probably the dullest I've ever seen The Dan perform. The band just wasn't cooking for most things this night. Although Bodhisattva and God Whacker were killer!

I love both Pheobe Snow and Steely Dan...I liek this song a lot, but there is something about this combination that seem to mesh. I can't really put my finger on it, but it could even honestly just be the recording quality or the acoustics of the venue. I'm just not sure what's wrong. It probably honestly was one of those "you had to be there" moments.

I was there - second row center that night. Fortunately the "fudge packers" didn't block my view! Phoebe was awesome - she was the highlight of the night. Overall, it wasn't an inspired Dan performance that night, but she made it memorable.

Thanks for posting this . It was a highlight from a great night of music . The wife and I danced all night on the upper balcony fire exit . The cuervo gold , the fine columbian make tonight a wonderful thing !
