every time i hear this song i always cry. it touches my heart each time i hear it. this song speaksthe truth, heres to the heroes, they are the chosen, we are the blest. what makes this song so powerful isnt the melody, its the people its about.

no one told them they had to rescue those lives, they knew it was the right thing to do, they knew those people needed help and they all gladly put themselves at risk for the safety of others

Nice song. But thought provoking. They sing "here's to the heroes" but what is there here for them? What kind of life will they lead, injured in battle. Or dead, how will their dependents live? Lovely song, but may it also stir the hearts of those in government to give a decent budget to fighting men and women. They cannot live on crochets and quavers.

Absolutely incredible voices. I've been a fan since they first tiptoed onto the scene here in Brisbane. This is definitely one of their best - but my fave is "The Colour of your Voice" which was written by one of the members. Their early work had a pianist as the sole accompaniment, so their harmonies were even more important then. It's great to see that they've gone to the success that they have!
