To me, $ale of The Century was... THE quintessential '80s game show, simply for the fact that it captured EVERY aspect of the decade. The show was constantly brimming with glitz, glamor, decadence, and most of all... an ever-present aura of greed. Perfect! $ale was a winner in every regard; Temptation, on the other hand... lol. ;-)

I loved this Version of "Sale of the Century" because it took $750 or more to win all those Prizes, plus the Cash Jackpot. Altogether, all that stuff is worth over $100,000.
