Curse Nintendo for creating the Nintendo DS. The gameboy was perfect, why did they have to go and ruin it and ever other title released on it. God I wish this was on gameboy!

@leftyswin they've fixed everything with 3ds which exceed wii's graphics. hopefully dark dawn will have a sequel on the 3ds since it launch next year.

i just hope for two things only... it has a big duration until it's completed... and ofc a sequel!!! i also hope the touch screen mechanics are optional and the game works fine (and maybe better) with the buttons. i am not a big fun of playing rpg's with the stylus.

OMG, it looks great! I just hope they don't mess the story up, because Golden Sun 1+2 were two of the best games I've ever played.

This game was made for 3ds right? Or are they using normal DS graphics? If they are then wow the graphics put FF IV to shame, but for this game to handle all thats happening in battle it has to be a 3ds engine.

@UrMamaIsDumbJK This game is made for the DS, so any DS version, including the classic, works for it. You're right, the graphics for this game makes FFIV look second rate

I hope you can control Fireball with the D-Pad. I'm not going to hate the game if all of the new Psynergy requires the touch screen, but being able to simply use the buttons would be awesome.

I still preferred the 2D/semi-2D Golden Sun on GBA. Now this 3D graphic it makes the character looks chunky like those from FF7 from PS1

You dont have to use the stylus you can use R and L for spells :)

I know you can activate the spells with the L+R vut you have to direct the fireballs etc

Ok huge question for me? is Stylus control is completley optional? can i walk around useing the dpad just as i would if this were on the GBA? Another words can i go completley with out useing touch at all? i will be asking this question all over because i must know. Thanks

maybe, maybe not, when you use a spell like the fire balls or move on the field it looks like you have to use the stylus, which isnt as bad as it would have been if it was all stylus

While I partially agree about the 3d graphics being a mistake, I think that they look spectacular--probably the best ds graphics I've seen (better than FF3/4). Even really well-done 2d could have been a let-down.

Whatever the graphics may be, I am amazingly excited.

I get ya dude, the orignial was unique, but for a DS 3D game im not sure they could of done better..... I wuld loved to seen it on the 3DS to get the best it could be on a portable...

@colummcclelland90 I can think of a few that wouldn't be dismissed. Echo and Flint for sure would never wanna leave, and the Djinn given as pets and found in towns would want to be kept also. That's at least 10-12 right there, or more.

Perhaps a few stayed, Like at the start of the game Issac may pass Flint on to his son, Felix may have echo, Maybe on the journey some djinn may battle Matthew to test his skills compared to his father. also I reckon Felix has had a kid... im hoping cause Hes the man... lol

I hope that the full of Weyard is playable.. that is my dream to have Prox, Lemuria etc in one card lol

@colummcclelland90 probably also some new towns too. Heard a rumor they added light and dark elements as well, so there could be 2 new types fo Djinn. Seriously u are the master golden sun uploader of all time btw! I would love to somehow see Dullahan in it as well. Also, heard a rumore a transfer data event or something.

@animeguardianxx I highly doubt they added new elements. That would create many inconsistencies within the story. Plus, let's please not be like Pokemon. Probably just a silly rumor. I kinda doubt the data transfer, too; maybe something like extra starting items if you have Golden Sun in the GBA slot, a la Fire Emblem or ToS: DotNW.

@SunshineMario86 ok pokemon I give u has too many types. golden sun only has 4, so 6 wouldn't be too much, more then that though and I would have an issue. I really don't doubt the data ransfer since they did it it number 2.

I really doubt the data transfer thing because Nintendo wants you to have the newest handheld the DSi or the DSi XL, besides, why would want to do that? you won't be able to play the old characters, cause they will be old (This game takes place 30 years after Lost Age) and that's will just ruin the game cause with that you'll beat it in one day. :)
