no i understand that great art CAN be achieved by using a mouse, but there are certain levels of masterpieces that can not in the time that na official job gives you, if your a concept artist for a major company... you have a small deadline and using a mouse is POSSIBLE, but highly unlikely. the reason i know this is because i use both a mouse and a tablet, both methods worked, but for something that is perfectly blended everywhere, and i mean everywhere, a mouse wont do

someone said "stop complaining you dont have a tablet, you can paint with a mouse" well along those lines. and my argument towards that is... in todays society, what serious artist has the time to do that when job opportunities wait for no one, also, more prefer a tablet, its more natural. and i dont think that person has teh right to make that comment when a choice of hardware is a choice of free will >_> dif people, dif views.

@Nadyusha lol, i beg to differ. thats one thing any true multi-media student should know. your never a master and you should never let the title of prof. go to your head. you should always look everywhere to better yourself. no youtube isnt a prof. site, but the users are from all over and give many different views, tips, and help. you never know where youl find something very useful. i take my work seriously, and i am always looking in many places to learn new things. =p

it can be done with a mouse but takes time. its a god job but at the same time you had to speed up your time to that level in order to show the people on you tube to keep a live audience......A mouse is not as accurate as a tablet and most of the time you will have erase a line several times before you get it rite. Theres some things that a mouse can't give a feeling of and thats a pencil. but for using a mouse to create this i must say that i give you a 5 star rating....good job

I'd have to disagree. Plenty of artists use mouse to create master art. What people need to understand is that if you use a mouse, there are other ways to achieve THE SAME result as with tablet. You may scan lineart, then colour using opacity changes, etc. ^ ^

It's not the best drawing, but it is still possible to draw with a mouse. All that matters is how much time & effort you put into your art. Mouse = takes longer to draw. :3 I took about 20 mins for this example drawing. My hand is used to do this.

It's a simple tactic, she chose a color (in this case blue) and changed the blending options. It probably was to multiply but it could also of been overlay, addition, etc. Its usually at an easy to get to place like the layer bar or something.

There are a lot of programs for recording your screen. You can record your screen while you are doing something on it, such as playing a game or drawing digitally. Most people use Camstudio and I prefer ZD Soft Screen Recorder. Both have a free version. Just search online.

Speeding up or dividing videos into parts can be done with any video-editing program. If you're Windows user, there should be Windows Movie Maker in your programs already.

Thanks. The music is set by request, as for Illustrator; I'm not into manga. My primary software for artwork and illustrations is Photoshop. In my videos I'm showing how to draw & animate using freeware.
