Brilliant. for me it was how cleverly the trippy design was used, as if the person you meet is the setup to a joke and their mind/level you go in and play is this huge punchline. It surprises but still fits in.

Like the scientists mind is a neat and sensible cube but then he snaps and you fight his childhood fears in a big cot.

that was a couple weeks ago, now it's back to $10. worth it though, i love this game so much. i own the original cinematic score and original soundtrack cd's and the game on pc/ps2/xbox. i wish they'd make a sequel or a spinoff...
