  • Sorry. I foolishly took out the rest of the trash earlier... the toothbrush was an hour too late to be launched onto an empty carton of yogurt and a stale loaf of bread.

  • Alternate sight gag / punchline: pick up toothbrush from trash, place it in envelope addressed to the ex, stamp it, put filthy (no offense to your trash) toothbrush in mail back to him.
