Fake 'archive' videos are interesting, but you need to find your 'raw' material more carefully. As sherlockH5 says, part of the 'underwater city' is petra, featured in Indiana Jones and the last crusade, and Sinbad and the eye of the tiger. Perhaps if Reg Bottoms travelled to skull island, we would see clips ripped-off from the original King Kong movie!

The shot with the statue is also clearly a fake. Notice how 2-dimensional it appears. The shots with the diver were lifted from some old film. A good fake, but a fake just the same.
