It's not just a console game, but PC as well. Ipad games are not that challenging. Random swipes of your thumb? Try getting the specific gameplay maneuvers down right with 8 keys and your mouse. Especially whilst trying to maintain the momentum enough to complete them correctly. That's challenging.

I also wouldn't say Mirror's Edge is "(post)apocalyptic" either. Totalitarian stuggle? Perhaps, but I'm with Yahtzee with that one: never sure who are the bad/good guys in this game.

that...looked painful. I can see you where doing the CORRECT moves with your thumbs but the ipad picked it up as something else giving you trouble just to jump. When it comes to games your better off getting it on a console or PC (I would say mac but some mac games like spore, Starwars ect has errors in it).

That being said Apple devices are good with your coffee cafe games (Plants vs Zombies, tap tap ect)

when i got it, it was free, i found it when it was on sale, so hurried up getting it while it still was free, this was clever by me, cuz the nxt day it was up at high price, a terrific, game, i've got both the iphone 4 and the ipad, playing mirrors edge on both (the iphone version is chinese for some reason! anybody know how to turn it english?) and i've got the PS3 whit mirrors edge, so i can compare, it is a great transfer between consoles and Iphone.

I saw you had some trouble wall running (running UP walls) in the start. So a little tip from a minor traceur (doing parkour in real life :p): Don't first jump into the wall, cause youll just bounce out again, just run into it and just before you have contact with the wall THEN press up ;) Lol, you prolly have figured that out now but just in case ;D

I like the fact that you can't play the game but still like it. Mirror's Edge originally got so much negative criticism because, in fact, people just couldn't play it and they blamed it on the game.
