I want this game but first the controls SUCK. 2nd, we have 3 ipod touch's and an iPad. We want 2 b able 2 play the game on them. Idk if I should buy the iPod touch version and just make the screen double sized when we play it on the iPad or buy it on the iPad and not play it at all on the iPod touch's. Im pretty sure you can't play iPad games at all on ipod Touch's. please help me decide.

@132yomama actually the whole point is that it's easy to controll, and you work with apps that performance-wise, aswell as "ease-of-use-wise" are alot better that the ones on the iphone. plus the larger screen makes stuff more serious (just about as serious as the avg person would need for on-the-go) and it lacks the phone call ability, making it a completely different product

All games where you walk, shoot, move the screen... are impossible to play on my iPod Touch. Unless you're fingers are cracked and dry, they are incredibly hard to move across the screen.

Oh, and this game looks like it would seem cool at first, but get tedious. Maybe it would be better on the iPod, where the controls would be closer together. I dunno though.

Screen controls suck no matter what game you play. You have so feedback at all like with a standard controller and it restricts your view. The best thing apple could come out with is a stand alone game controller. IMO that would def put more pressure on developers to make great games because they wouldnt have an excuse for them to suck from the controls and they wouldactualy have to treat the ipad as a gaming system. Although when peripherals come into plat thing can get nasty.

@MetroidJunkie2007 no, sadly they don't nearly destroy ipads in terms of power, and the point was that nothing touches it in it's own form factor. I'm sure we can find a desktop that has a higher power per dollar rate, but it's not about that either.
It's about a smooth, multi touch tablet. It's been years since the iphone, and you still can't say there's a competitor (talkin droid, i support 3 of them) that can even scroll it's own icon home screen or a web page smoothly. that's pretty fail

Add another $200.00+ per price if you wanted wifi & 3g & you got your self a laptop price touch screen,
BUT, the same apps that you can now play on your ipod or iphone can be played on the iPad, not only that but developers will make EXCLUSIVE games to portray the true potential of the ipad.

I think that the controls just need to be improved. maybe something like the controls of the PSP version of GTA.
You can move and change the direction your looking with the same joystick.
This would make the make much easier to play.

All games where you walk, shoot, move the screen... are impossible to play on my iPod Touch. Unless you're fingers are cracked and dry, they are incredibly hard to move across the screen.

Screen controls suck no matter what game you play. You have so feedback at all like with a standard controller and it restricts your view. The best thing apple could come out with is a stand alone game controller. IMO that would def put more pressure on developers to make great games because they wouldnt have an excuse for them to suck from the controls and they wouldactualy have to treat the ipad as a gaming system. Although when peripherals come into plat thing can get nasty.
