What a bizarre time in history. I'll always wonder if Jack Ruby was hired to do that hit. Many people believe he loved President Kennedy, and wanted to get back at Oswald. Ruby gave up his own freedom when he chose to do that, as there was no chance of escape.

There are a few things beyond dispute.

Ruby shooting Oswald with a single shot in the BELLY is not the act of a hitman sent to silence someone...for the most important hit in mob history.

Ruby sending a moneygram 4 MINUTES before the shooting (with the original time-stamped receipt in the possession of the Western Union) is not the act of a hitman getting into position.

Ruby had to kill Oswald so there would be no trial of the President's accused assasin. They didn't have to kill Ruby (if he kept his mouth shut) because his trial would be for the murder of Oswald so testimony about the JFK murder could be kept out or at least minimized.

Ruby begged the Warren Comission to take him to Washington and given protection, hinting at a conspiracy and that LBJ was behind it. Ruby feared that he would be killed if he talked in Dallas.

The Tippit witnesses did not, in fact, identify Oswald as the shooter. Some described two men, or someone who did not resemble Oswald. Some of the witnesses were led by DPD to identify Oswald. The shell casings found at the scene were from an automatic. Oswald carried a revolver which does not eject spent shells. Do you think Oswald killed Tippit then opened his revolver, took out the spent shells and left them at the scene?

The man on Ruby's right in the video is one of his appeal lawyers Elmer Gertz who wrote "Moment of Madness" detailing the appeal process, why (1st trial) Judge Brown was disqualified, why the Dallas Police wanted to bury Ruby & why the first verdict & death sentence were overturned & the "new" trial moved out of Dallas.
