I did exactly the same thing. On weekends a few years ago there's this road out in Queens New York. And many people would pull over and watch the planes land at exactly the same distance as your film, even the fence looks the same. Every plane coming in looked like it would hit us - it was that close. What chances we took. Anything could have gone wrong.

I really appreciate your high quality videos. It's a pleasure to watch them. I've been to St.Marteen 3 years ago and was lucky to see an AF340, AA757, USAirways 757, AirTransat A300 etc. Wonderful place. As far as I know the beach is closed now.
