Technically, the term Kaiser was used for any ruler of Germany from 1871 to 1918. It was also used in by the Holy Roman Emporers (9621806) and Austria (18041918) before that... The most well known Kaiser was Kaiser Wilhelm II who ruled Germany during WWI.

Those numbers in parentheses...they made sense when I typed them. Youtube screwed it up. 962 through 1806 and 1804 through 1918 respectively.
