This trick won't fool magicians, but works for laypeople, so I'm happy with that.

Now what kinda attitude is that? Of course you can fool magicians with this one. Just look at all the subtleties that are so different from what a lot of people do? It's all about misdirection and how well you perform the effect. A lot of times you can actually get away with something even if the person knows the method.
