in reality those Helicopters can be taken down with even AK 74 ... so they stay miles away .. but since its a game they make it close quarters to have more fun.

@NoxNoctisUmbra - todays ah64 is built to take a lot of damage. double thick armor plating make it highly unlikely to be taken down by any ak fire. even the rotor can withstand smaller cannon fire. vital areas within the airframe are heavily protected as well. but yeah they damn sure dont hover right above the enemy like that. theyd fly higher, make a few passes and all would be dead.
