No, the lesson here is if you don't know something, don't go and make a dumbass observation.
F-Zero is nothing new, you can get it legally fairly easily on two different consoles, and if you play more than 30 seconds of the game, you'll figure this shit out.
You could do the same on both White Land I and II, but it's a bit more hard on White Land I. I've only done it once on the SNES Console...and was never able to do it again. I did this like when I was 8........about 12 years ago. :)
I was always annoyed that they didn't allow this shortcut.
It's not a big shortcut, just enough to be appropriate given how risky it is. So I think they should have allowed it.
As I remember, it lands you slightly ahead of the competition, but after the penalty you end up slightly behind. Been forever since I played it though.
haha i remember it actually said in the instruction manuel that shortcuts weren't allowed. and if u try it, this happens. not really a trick, but if it seems like it to you then good job lol
TO ALL RETARDS: You don't lose time you GAIN time by doing this trick. The machine picks you up and sets you down a little back, but you gain ALOT of time regardless because you skip ALOT of track.
you played it to death?there is someone that it played it more than you...ME!I still play it today and i made a modification of SNES9XTYL(PSP) that it emulates F-Zero almost perfectly!(Video & download coming soon...)
i once saw a weird trick in f-zero, except the computer did it. my cousin was racing and suddenly one of the computer cars did a huge jump across the field. it was very weird
"No, you start with no boosts, smart one." If that's true, it must be a mixup with the 'standard' model of racegames like these, always giving you 3 boosts at the start of each race. It's been years since I last played this. So, cut me some slack :} But I am correct on the part where you gain a boost when you complete a lap.
I've owned this game since 92, and i've always mucked around with the second jump on that level, trying to see if it was possible to cheat.. I never realised that it was possible with the first jump until I watched this video..
This trick doesn't exactly help things: after the "trick" jump, you get set back to a spot close to the land site of the second normal jump, and, more importantly, you have to use your boost on an inconvenient part of the course. It's better to use the boost after the series of hairpin turns.
i play all the f zeroes since im a little kid and i always thought that the machine thing from the sky only can vanish your wounds by increasing your life...
omg i used to do that

wtf? you are supposed to die!
enrique90000 7 months ago
@enrique90000
No, if that machine comes out and drags you back to the track, its because you're performing an illegal stunt to try to cheat.
If he was going to die he would have died, moron.

Lol you just got placed back on the road :O.
Just like mario kart.

it is a good trick, but if you turn left intstead of right when you land, it picks you up and puts you down a lot faster.

"Did you just cheat in the niddle of a race?"
I always preferred to consider this a

godverdegodverdomme 3 years ago
I think with the time loss the machine picks you up and throws you back halfway you can simply be there without doing the trick, but it looks cool
MarioWhoKnows 3 years ago
How can this be a trick...you loose time and you are put somewhere behind? not really a trick. But good game

how do u boost?
Efnut 4 years ago
"how do u boost?"
You boost at the press of a button,
I forgot which one exactly, but I
know you begin with 3 boosts at the start
of the race, and gain 1 additional boost
for each completed lap during that race.
