@fanttjm1 Umm at 11 you really dont need to look out for it. If you have some yicky gross, stuff in your panties (kinda like a stain of white or yellow), thats called discharge. discharge can take up to 6 months to two years before youll get your first period. Im going on 13 in january and I havent had mine yet. it also depends on how long your breasts have been growing. Mine have been since last so i should be looking out for it in late april. Yea it also depends in how much meat you eat

@kaliswain11 It's easy to tell your parents. When ever you are alone with one parent or both parents and you feel that the time is right tell them you have something important to tell them, then just say "I started my period and I need supplies" or something like that. Once you got it out then you'll feel a lot better. Your mom will remember her first time and what it's like and help you right away. A very important thing is to not chicken out. @yeahitsemily15 u put it bak in the wrapper so u can throw it out without any1 having to see the blood all over it. You're right in saying why would you save it, but you just take the used pad off when it gets too, well, bloody, and so that people don't have to see the dirty pad, you wrap it up. FYI, For you who don't know, you have your menstral flow(period) for 3-7 days, almost always continious, so change your pad every 2-3 hours, with a tampon, about 6-8 hours. You know when you have your period when you see brown spots in your underwear and/or in your urine and you probably will have cramps and feel grumpy ( in short terms , PMS)

@honeybear010 wen u get it? if so, its not tht bad, but its different for everyone. i cried, lolz idk y! idc at all anymore. u just get cramps, stomach aches, head aches, n stuff. lol it just sucks wen u cnt go swimming, unless....yeah. lol i got mine 4 days after my 10th bday n i just turned 11 so its been like a year and 2 months

@kaliswain11 It's easy to tell your parents. When ever you are alone with one parent or both parents and you feel that the time is right tell them you have something important to tell them, then just say "I started my period and I need supplies" or something like that. Once you got it out then you'll feel a lot better. Your mom will remember her first time and what it's like and help you right away. A very important thing is to not chicken out. I panicked when i had my first one today my mom went on telling everybody so i made up in an excuse and said i cut myself haha and then i put a pad on without her knowing!xD okay so im uncomfortable now so im not saying anything else

Unless your talking about tampons. Cuz u can just flush those down the toilet and you don't have to wrap them bak up at all.

@yeahitsemily15 u put it bak in the wrapper so u can throw it out without any1 having to see the blood all over it. You're right in saying why would you save it, but you just take the used pad off when it gets too, well, bloody, and so that people don't have to see the dirty pad, you wrap it up. Hope that helps lol.

Wow, thank you for actually being serious! FYI, For you who don't know, you have your menstral flow(period) for 3-7 days, almost always continious, so change your pad every 2-3 hours, with a tampon, about 6-8 hours. You know when you have your period when you see brown spots in your underwear and/or in your urine and you probably will have cramps and feel grumpy ( in short terms , PMS)

@funnygirltoo you take your panties of in order to put it in on the inside. oh and shes not a good video... i hardly doubt shes been on her period and if you do use tampods you just put it in. and let most of the string hang dont pull it out when its in untill 3 hours later. and tampods u can use any time of the day your actually cleaner when you where them. and im pretty sure your mom would be buying your "necessities"

I only told my friends. They gave me pads and stuff, but my mom found out eventually and now she just buys them for me. If you don't want to tell your mom, do something so she finds out accidentally-on-purpose. For example, she kind of noticed after I used up loads of her pads!
