You have to understand that these guys are not trying to 'be' the Sex Pistols unlike all the other bollocks out there.

They are trying to recreate the music, not the image, and the Sex Pistols made good music.

If what you're trying to say is that there's only allowed to be one good covers band, that is incredibly narrow minded.

The Pistols music should be enjoyed by all, and these guys recreate it live very well for audiences to enjoy.

The bass on The Bollocks is played by Steve Jones mainly- a simplified version of Glen's original colourful basslines,

Sid plays on Bodies, Glen on Anarchy.

My original opinion is still correct-

check out bootlegs from 76 to hear the authenticity of their sound in relation to the Bollocks album (IE tight, and in tune for starters) you are really getting tedious now, get over yourself love.

Sid & Nancy appeared onstage together at Electric ballroom & Max's, so if the SPx are being paid to put on a Sid & Nancy gig (as they were for the No one is innocent book launch) then having a 'Nancy' was an essential ingrediant for that gig- if you don't like it fiesty all you gotta do is stop in Perth - cos you wont catch em coming up there, so you'll be happy!

Juggsy, Having 'experienced' the Sex Pistols live, seen their DVD and numerous YouTube videos, my final opinion is that they are a very good caberet act, but musically, from what I've heard and seen of Lucre (I've been to 5 shows they played in 2006/2007 they are simply better musicians. (As opposed to actors or impersonators)
